  If I could give Kayla more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Before finding her, I had such a horrible experience at another salon that I completely lost trust in hair stylists. I went almost an entire year without letting anyone touch my hair because I was genuinely afraid of having another bad experience. Then I found Kayla. From my very first haircut and consultation, she made me feel heard, comfortable, and completely understood. She never dismissed what had happened to me before or made me feel dramatic for being nervous. She took my concerns seriously, talked me through everything, and most importantly, made sure my hair was actually healthy enough for the result I wanted. She never rushed me. She never compromised the health of my hair just to get me to my goal faster. She took the process one appointment at a time and she always had the bigger picture in mind. When I first came to her, my hair was uneven, faded, worn out, and stuck in this washed-out orange/red color that I honestly thought I would never fully get rid of. After two years of trusting Kayla and trusting the process, I can say with complete confidence that every bit of patience was worth it because I am now a FABULOUS blonde. And the best part? my hair is still healthy. That alone says everything about how talented she is. But beyond her skill, Kayla is just the sweetest person. She is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and makes every appointment feel comfortable and fun. I trust her so much now that I can literally sit in her chair and tell her to do whatever she wants because I know she understands my hair, what works for me, and what will actually look good. That level of trust means everything to me considering where I started. Kayla didn’t just fix my hair — she completely changed the way I feel about going to a salon again. I will forever be booking with her, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. If you’ve had a bad salon experience, if you’re nervous to trust someone again, or if you want a stylist who genuinely cares about the health of your hair just as much as the final result, book with Kayla!

  Kayla does such a great job every time I see her! She's very personable and great to have as a hair stylist. The salon is also very well kept and a beautiful environment. It always smells so nice and the staff are always making sure the experience is a positive one. Can't recommend Elavina enough!!

  I am so extremely happy with Elavina Salon and Spa in every way! The salon itself is so beautiful and welcoming. Clean, modern and chic. They greet you with a welcoming smile and hello and offer you something to drink. They make you feel special as soon as you walk in the door and everyone is so friendly and helpful. My stylist Alana is just amazing and listens to exactly what I want for a hairstyle. She is super helpful with any ideas with the wavy thick and curly hair that is sometimes difficult to manage. She gave me the perfect cut yesterday and I am so extremely happy with how it turned out! I met Alana at Empire school where I have been going for decades but Alana is the best I ever had to get my hair the perfect way I wanted it. I knew I had to follow her after she graduated the school! She's not only an amazing hairstylist but she's super sweet too! I got a bonus that she works at Elavina! They go above and beyond to make sure their clients are happy! I got the best of both worlds with Elavina Salon & Spa and Alana! P.S. I'm going to be 64 in October but Alana makes me feel like I'm 50! 😁

  I have always had an excellent experience at Elavina. I normally book with Kayla who is amazing, but when I made the mistake of giving myself a “trim” and Kayla was fully booked the next day, I knew I could schedule with anyone and be taken care of. Ava and the owner helped me correct the cut beautifully and did not make me feel embarrassed about my mistake. The whole team has always been extremely kind and professional. I would highly recommend!
