When used on the brows, henna offers semi-permanent results and can stain up to five weeks on the hairs and up to one week on the skin. Henna has the best results when maintained regularly. Venetian Plus $40 This solution is designed with cool violet-brown undertones to give a deeper, darker exotic Riviera tan. Frequently Asked Spray Tanning Questions What do I wear for a spray tan? The clothes you wear should be dark in color and loose fitting. Tight clothing can cause the tan to develop unevenly. As far as what to wear while your being sprayed, is completely up to your comfort level. Many clients stick with their birthday suits to avoid tan lines. We have a variety of disposable bras, panties, thongs and even boxer shorts. You can also wear dark undergarments or a dark bathing suit. How long does the spray tan last? A spray tan is designed to last 5 to 7 days. There are many things you can do to help increase the longevity. Drinking plenty of water and moisturizing daily are the keys to success. We do offer Norvell body washes, moisturizers bronzing lotions to increase the longevity of your tan. You really want to stay away from rough loofahs, exfoliants, chemical ingredients and parabens Will I turn orange? Norvell Venetian products have a special formula with a purple undertone to neutralize any orange pigment resulting a beautiful and natural look. What if I have a sunburn? We can not provide a spray on skin that has experienced a sunburn in the past 30 days. Even if the skin seems healed, your tan will not be a uniform color on the areas where the skin was burned. Am I protected from the sun? A spray tan does not in anyway protect you from the suns rays. Your skin will still burn and pre-mature age if not protected with sunscreen. We always recommend using a minimum of an SPF 30 on a daily basis. What should or shouldn't I do before the spray tan? Any exfoliating should happen at least 24 hours before your spray tan. This includes services like manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, and shaving. If you must shower sooner before your spray tan, use cool water and no sooner than 3 hours prior to your session. Avoid perfumes, makeup, lotion and deodorant on the morning of your session. When can I shower after the spray tan? This is dependent on the solution used for your spray tan session. Rapid solutions can be rinsed within a few hours. Other solutions shouldn't be rinsed for a minimum of 8 hours. For optimum results, no soaps or shower gels should be used for 24 hours post session regardless of the solution used. What if my tan gets wet before the rinse time? If there is a possibility of rain during your tanning session, please wear long sleeves and long pants and bring an umbrella with you! Rain, sweat or moisture of any kind that is on your skin while your tan is in it's processing stage could develop unevenly.
