- GSGreg & Natalya SheppardJun 30, 20262.0Came in for my routine Botox appointment with Shelby—a quick 15-minute visit—and was unexpectedly asked to leave because my 8-year-old son was with me. Nowhere does it state that minors are not allowed or that you must be 18 years or older to enter the office. I only learned about this policy after arriving and quietly waiting for my appointment. As a working parent, it is already difficult to balance work, parenting, and taking care of myself. My son often accompanies me while I run errands, and I have never encountered this policy at any other medical or aesthetic office. The way it was handled felt unfriendly, abrupt, and unnecessarily disappointing. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I truly appreciate Shelby and have always had a wonderful experience with her. However, the management should clearly post this policy on the entrance door and on the website so patients know in advance that minors are not permitted. It would save people an unnecessary trip and a very frustrating experience.
