  At first we felt a bit abandoned the first lady we approached showed us the jewelry and just walked off but Ketsia came in and helped us through the whole process she was patient and precise and I really appreciated that!! I will be back and I would choose Ketsia Every Time Thanks for a great experience!

  My nose piercing is six years old and has been fully healed for years. I went in to get new jewelry after my original jewelry fell out, and Rowan was one of the only piercing studios open. I explained that my original piercing was done with a 20 gauge needle and that I normally wear a 6mm hoop. The employee I spoke with recommended a 10mm endless hoop, I specifically asked what gauge the jewelry was and she was unable to give me an answer. I wasn’t able to get the nose ring in myself because I have fake nails, so one of their nurses attempted to put it in. I again expressed my concern that the gauge appeared too large compared to the jewelry in my other nostril. While trying to insert it, I told her it was painful and that I believed she was forcing a much larger gauge through my existing piercing. Instead of stopping she continued forcing it through. I had to go back to my usual shop to get the correct size jewelry, and it turns out a 16 gauge hoop was forced through my 20 gauge piercing, which is a pretty big difference.. My previously healed piercing was left irritated and bleeding. What makes this even more frustrating is that this business advertises piercing services performed by licensed nurses. I would expect a licensed nurse to recognize that resistance and significant pain are reasons to stop and reassess rather than continue forcing jewelry through a healed piercing. I did receive a refund through customer service, which I appreciate, but it doesn’t change the fact that I was left with a previously healed piercing that is now inflamed, extremely painful, and producing pus 5 days later. Given the experience and training this store advertises, I would expect better judgment and care. Pros: The store is very aesthetic, and they seem to have a good variety of jewelry.
