  I was with a friend at a Sephora location inside Kohl's and witnessed extremely unprofessional behavior from an employee named Asiyat. My friend approached her for skincare advice and was dismissed without any real help. After that interaction, the employee began following us around the store in a way that felt accusatory and uncomfortable, as if we were being suspected of stealing. It created a very tense and unwelcoming environment, especially considering we were simply trying to shop for a gift. As a bystander, it was obvious this behavior was inappropriate and not how customers should be treated. I would not recommend this location and suggest going to a corporate Sephora store instead if you want respectful service.

  I had a very negative experience at Sephora due to an employee named Asiyat. When I approached her for skincare advice, she was dismissive and uninterested in helping. After that, she began following me around the store in a way that made it feel like I was being suspected of stealing, even though I was simply shopping for a gift. This behavior was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and inappropriate toward a paying customer. No one should feel targeted or uncomfortable while shopping, especially after asking for assistance. I reported this incident to both management and corporate. If you value respectful customer service, I would strongly recommend saving your time and visiting an actual corporate Sephora location instead.

  The store manager, “Margie”, came across as VERY unprofessional and disengaged. She walked around while the checkout line grew longer, yet didn’t step in to help the cashiers. I waited in line for 40 MINUTES, and while she did apologize, actions would have mattered more than words in that situation. A manager should be leading by example, especially during busy times. This was easily one of the most frustrating store experiences I’ve had, and I will be escalating this to corporate.

  I would love to give 10 stars for the experience I had today. I went to this location around 5:30 or so after a disgustingly horrendous experience at Ulta beauty. I, a grown man that knows nothing about makeup, went to Sephora after feeling so defeated because I was in need of makeup for a very important acting role. I went in unsure and confused and was greeted by Samantha. She could tell I was struggling and immediately asked if I needed help. I explained my situation and what I had just been through and she looked at me and said, "I got you". When I tell you she walked me through it and let me understand what I needed and how to put on and when! I can say I love me some Samantha! She left me feeling more than confident, she joked with me and I felt valued. She wished me success and I wish her the best. In fact I'll recommend her to my set director at John Casablanca studios, if she's not promoted first!
