I come into this specific location very frequently. Normally I keep to myself and don’t have many questions because I am repurchasing items. Let me preface with I spend a LOT of money at this place. Every single time I come in Jenny is there. I have never once had a good experience with her. She ALWAYS has a bad attitude and is unwilling to help. I have never left a review for any establishment and this experience was my last straw. If you don’t like to be helpful and you have a disgusting attitude, Sephora is not where you should be working. On the other hand, everyone else who I have interacted with at this location is amazing. If I choose to ever return, I know the last person I will be asking for help from is Jenny because she clearly doesn’t like to be bothered.

I HATE shopping at this Sephora! It's like they rate applicants from best to worst and then hire the worst ones. They stare you down and follow behind you as if you're a thief and it's so distasteful. I can't even browse in peace without them thinking it's suspicious. Shouldn't that be what cameras are for and anti-theft alarms? I never come in looking “disheveled” or act “off” so I truly do not understand why they behave this way. I was trying to smell a fragrance and an older woman employee watched me and continued making random (not thoughtful) chatter with me, when I went silent she stayed put behind me and started fiddling with products near me. This is in no way appropriate behavior.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sephora during my visit today.
While I was shopping, two associates who were talking amongst themselves turned around and commented on my skin, telling me that I needed to use a particular skincare line. One associate asked what I was currently using, and when I explained my skincare regimen recommended by my doctor due to medical conditions and sensitivities, she made a face and appeared dismissive of my response. She then insisted that I should be using the skincare line she was recommending instead. When I explained that I cannot simply switch products because of my medical circumstances, she told me she was "pretty sure" I could use it and continued trying to show me the products.
When I politely declined, their attitude noticeably changed. As I continued shopping, I could hear them talking about me, which made me feel uncomfortable and judged. Unfortunately, the same associate ended up checking me out, and the interaction was cold and unfriendly. She barely spoke to me unless she needed information to complete the transaction.
What upset me most was the unsolicited commentary about my skin and the dismissal of a treatment plan that was recommended by my physician. Sephora should be a welcoming environment where people can shop for makeup and skincare without feeling judged for their appearance. Associates are not medical professionals and should not be making assumptions about someone's skin concerns, medical conditions, or what products they can safely use. A recommendation is one thing, but questioning or dismissing a doctor's guidance and continuing to push products after a customer has declined assistance is inappropriate.
As a licensed professional makeup artist, I spend a significant amount of money with Sephora every year and regularly recommend products to my clients. Because of that, this experience was especially disappointing. I understand that skincare and makeup are part of the business, but there is a difference between offering help and making someone feel singled out because of their appearance.
Many people who shop at Sephora are dealing with acne, rosacea, eczema, autoimmune conditions, scarring, or other medical concerns. Employees should be mindful that comments about a person's skin can have a much greater impact than they realize.
I left feeling embarrassed, judged, and unwelcome. This experience will certainly influence where I choose to spend my money in the future, and I hope management takes the opportunity to remind employees that kindness, professionalism, and respect should be extended to every customer who walks through the door.

Seems like every time I visit this location, Jenny (the manager) likes to watch black people shop. I clearly needed help and she didn’t say a word! Felt very targeted. Hopefully my experience will be better next time. People spend their hard earned money, we deserve to be treated fairly.

Genuinely so annoyed 😂 Went in today to look for a concealer for spot concealing, and asked a lady working for help. She was trying her best to help, when an Ilia rep, who I wasn’t even speaking to, interrupted to try to sell me a bullshit skin tint I wasn’t looking for. Then she proceeded to tell me my sunscreen was probably causing my acne and I should try her skin tint. Probably not a good idea to try to diagnose the root cause of someone’s skin concerns unasked and unwarranted. If she knew anything at all, she would know you shouldn’t rely solely on a skin tint for sun protection because unless you’re dousing your face in it, you’re not getting enough SPF. I told I wasn’t looking for a skin tint, and I said that multiple times respectfully, but she completely missed any and all social cues. I decided to return the items I came to return and left before she pissed me off further. Ulta right down the way doesn’t speak so righteously to customers. Poor salesmanship and no couth.
