- KKKristina KnightApr 17, 20263.0I honestly thought that if I asked for a really simple haircut it would be fine but I was wrong. A graduated bob. The lady that cut my hair didn't even spend 15 minutes on me which is insane because she took off at least 6 inches of my hair and my hair is very very thick. I asked her several times for suggestions and she gave me none. I also tried engaging her in conversation like all of the other stylists were doing but I would get very short answers. I truly felt like she just didn't want me there. My hair was wet when I left and she did not show me the back of my head at all. I had no idea how bad it was until I dried and straightened my hair. I'm so disappointed. Thought about going back and asking for them to fix it but I'm honestly scared it will be even worse. I added an extra star to my rating simply bc the male hair stylist next to us was so sweet and likeable, I enjoyed being around his energy. *****Edit - I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. He was super friendly and offered to fix my hair for me and gave me a couple days of his availability to choose from. I went in today, he checked my hair out, agreed it needed some work and in less than 15 minutes he had my hair looking great. He was very sweet and made me feel comfortable being there even though it was an uncomfortable situation. Also, it turns out that the male stylist that I was so impressed with during the first visit was indeed the manager. He's a really great guy.

- AAAlexandraFeb 19, 20262.0None of the stylists wanted to cut our young child's hair. We were clearly avoided until the stylists working could decide who would service us. When our child was finally seated another stylist approached ours thanking them for agreeing to cut our child's hair. It was really rude and insulting. Our child handled the cut just fine and I hope our stylist bragged on the tip we left her. Won't be back.

She did exactly what I asked for with my haircut and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. I shared that I was going through a personal issue, and she showed so much compassion and kindness. She truly made me feel better and more balanced by the time I left. Not only is she a talented stylist, but she’s also a genuinely caring person. I’m so grateful for the experience and will absolutely be back!

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
