  *Updated* -3 stars: The salon manager called me on her day off to fix the scheduling issue (mentioned on the bottom of the original review below) and they actually were able to move their appointment out a few weeks for a haircut fix (no cost) which made me happy. She apologized a bunch which was very nice of her and they’ll be doing a treatment on their hair at no extra cost which is extremely nice of them so now they will be seeing Raquel and I will update this review again in a few weeks. After speaking with the manager, I am definitely happier and I’ve changed my 1star to 3. I’m hoping after their appointments, I can change it to a 5. Original post - 1 star: I took my girls to the salon on July 31 for back to school haircuts. We asked for specific haircuts even had a photo of what my oldest wanted, which was a wolf cut. Unfortunately, the same hairdresser, which I cannot remember her name right now, but according to the receipt, it was possibly associate 0144, completely butchered their hair. My youngest wanted curtain bangs, and a trim with low layers, however, she gave her very short bangs, along with a straight cut and no layers like she was asked to do and cut about 5 inches off of her hair. Then my oldest wanted a wolf cut. We showed a picture and her hair was more than long enough to execute the style. However, her hair was cut so short to the point where it was a borderline pixie cut, and my daughter’s left crying. My hair was also cut. No layers were put in like I asked, and again too short. The manager was trying to make the situation better and booked appointments with Raquel in order to get both my daughter’s hair fixed. I just received a phone call from the JCPenney salon to confirm the appointment for this Saturday and I asked if we could move it out some seeing how their hair has not grown enough to get it fixed yet and I was told if I wanted to push it out more that I would have to pay for it and it would be a whole new haircut so needless to say I am now writing the review because I was trying to give them a chance to fix the situation and they were not able to so now the Appointment has been canceled and I will be taking them to somewhere else where they know what they’re doing in a few weeks when their hair grows out more. I highly do NOT recommend this salon.

  I did an appointment with Liz to do highlights, and I wanted a kinda blondish color and came out with caramel highlights. I also asked her before she dyed my hair that I didn’t want caramel highlights, and she said that she was going to do it just like the photo. She start to dye my hair and she kinda shows me the color but not completely. It was kinda dark but I thought that it would become lighter after we dried my hair and it didn’t. I didn’t know how to tell her since I’m a young kid and she was an experienced woman who is experience in this field and has done hair for years. When my mom came in she told her that she made the caramel on purpose. I was astonished when she said that and didn’t know what to do since when she said that she was already blowing my hair and I didn’t know how she could fix it when it was already dyed. I also wanted a lot of layers and she told me ‘no’ flat out that she wanted to do it just like the photo, and if my mom didn’t come in when she did I was also going to leave with a haircut I didn’t want.

  Danielle has been my stylist a couple times and she is amazing. I keep rebooking with her due to her professionalism and the ability to make me feel very comfortable. She treats my hair with tender care and attention. I’ve literally napped when she was washing my hair. Magic fingers, I can’t wait to go back to her again!

  Today I brought my daughter to get her first BIG chop she got her haircut by Carla and I would strongly recommend her to anyone. She did her hair perfectly and made sure to keep asking if the length was okay , they clicked instantly and kept a conversation going , she was so sweet and my daughter definitely feels confident. She loves her new style!
