During my most recent visit, I was shocked to be charged $40 before tip with no prior notice of any price changes. There was no signage in the salon or heads-up from staff about such a significant increase. When I called the next day, I was told prices had recently gone up, but I didn’t receive a clear explanation—especially considering the cost essentially doubled overnight. I was also told the blow dry was part of the added charge, even though that has never been an extra fee in my past visits and only takes a few minutes for my hair. I understand businesses need to raise prices, but doubling them without informing loyal customers is frustrating. Better communication and transparency would make a big difference

Regular haircut price is $20. And I usually tip between $5-10. Another major plus are the hours...they have late weekday evenings AND open on both Sat & Sundays. Make sure you download the app and/or create an online account, use the check-in feature, and sign up for email notifications. Those features are great because you can gage how long the wait time is before you go and you'll periodically get coupons/discounts/promo codes for their haircuts and hair products they sale...every little bit helps :) I usually go to the Univ location but the lady that usually cuts my hair no longer works there so I tried the Highland Creek location since its close to my house too and they were awesome. Clean environment. Friendly. Professional. Myaa is the Bomb! My hair is very short and afro-curly textured, and thinning a little due to menopause yet she trimmed it perfectly. Needless to say she's my new stylist/location now 🫶. Definitely give them a try. Especially if you have a short/medium hairstyle that reqire regular trims to stay looking cute and sassy 🤩.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
