The IV treatment was helpful, and the location, atmosphere, and employees were very nice. Unfortunately, my experience with management and billing was terrible, particularly when trying to cancel my membership.
During my first visit with a $99 intro offer, I felt pressured to sign up for a membership and leave a five-star Google review within the first 10 minutes. I wanted to pay per visit, as I've done at several IV clinics across the country (~$70), but was told that wasn't an option. The owner/manager was friendly but spoke about other customers in ways that made me uncomfortable. I also noticed employees photographing another client during treatment while blindfolded, which raised concerns about whether photos might be taken without my knowledge.
Due to medical restrictions, I could only receive plain saline. I was told they'd look into reducing my $110 monthly membership fee because of this, but that never happened, and additional treatments I couldn't medically receive continued to be pushed.
In April, I tried canceling but was told there was a $100 early cancellation fee, and that my contract ends in June anyways. Despite this, I continued being charged through September.
Communication was incredibly frustrating. Their limited hours made scheduling difficult, I couldn't transfer my membership after moving, and emails and voicemails about cancellation went unanswered or were redirected toward scheduling more treatments. While in Boston for medical treatment, I requested cancellation in writing again and asked about a partial refund as IVs weren't medically recommended, but was later told they'd missed my email even though I left them a follow up voicemail about it.
By September, I'd paid approximately $990 and received only ONE treatment. Even after providing screenshots proving I'd canceled months earlier, I was offered a 75-day extension to use eight accumulated IV treatments instead of a refund, despite my medical circumstances. I was told contracts didn't end and instead continued month-month, even though I was told it would end in June after I requested to cancel it.
I was eventually promised refunds for July, August, and September, but the next day after they spoke to the "billing team" I initially received only two months. When I asked why, I was told July was too far back to refund. When I asked for the billing department's phone number, the manager immediately issued the remaining refund. I ultimately received $330 back, while approximately $550 remained tied up in unused treatments. They acted as if it was a huge inconvenience to refund money they continued to charge me for after I requested my contract be canceled, even after they kept $550 for nothing provided.
I've never experienced so much difficulty canceling a membership. It shouldn't take months of repeated requests, screenshots, and follow-ups to stop charges after receiving written confirmation of cancellation. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked the staff and treatments, but the membership policies, billing practices, and handling of my cancellation completely ruined the experience. I would not recommend signing up for a membership here.
