  I really like this Sephora location, and the sales floor staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cashiers often have a rude attitude and seem cold and unwelcoming, especially when redeeming a birthday gift without making a purchase. I’ve noticed this on multiple occasions, and I hope the customer service at checkout improves.

  The employees who helped me find the correct shade were very kind and helpful, and I truly appreciated their assistance. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when I went to check out. I attempted to use a discount coupon, and the employee assisting me was very polite. She told me she wasn’t sure how it worked and said she would ask someone for help. She called over an employee named George. From the moment he approached, I felt that he looked at me in a dismissive and condescending way. What made the interaction particularly uncomfortable was that I had been speaking English throughout the entire conversation, yet George immediately chose to address me in Spanish. I had not spoken Spanish to him or indicated that I needed assistance in Spanish. It felt as though he made an assumption about what language I would understand based solely on how he perceived me, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful. He then told me, “En esta tienda no tenemos descuentos,” which translates to, “We don’t have discounts at this store.” I responded to him in English and asked whether that meant the promotional offer I was showing him was fake. He told me yes. Regardless of whether the coupon was applicable, there were much more respectful and professional ways to explain that. The combination of his demeanor, the dismissive response, and assuming which language I should be spoken to completely changed what had otherwise been a very positive experience at this Sephora. I appreciate the employees who genuinely took the time to help me earlier in my visit, but unfortunately, this final interaction is what I left the store remembering.

  My daughter and I always love going here! The sales associates are always so friendly. Today we went for make up help (I grew up a tom boy and have no clue about make up ) but wanted to treat myself to some since I have very bad rosacea and Trina was more than helpful and walked with us helping us with whatever we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Will definitely be back soon! We love their perfume selections as well.
