  Brought my daughters in for back to school hair cuts, the stylist was very nice and did fine with my younger daughter’s hair, one just got a good trim and the other got a big chop. My 14 year old wanted these wispy bangs and we showed her and inspo picture. I also explained that my daughter had very curly/wavy hair so she knew how to cut it so they wouldn’t shrink up and be shorter than what she wanted. She wanted them to fall right at the bottom of her eye brows so they weren’t n her eyes. Well after she cut them she still had them wet and asked if they were ok, I asked if we could style them and when she did the round brush to get them to lay right but that’s when I realized she cut them so short that they go across the middle of her forehead above her eyebrows and lay very goofy.. yeah the bangs lay right where we asked if u pull her hair down straight flat to her head, but you can even tell from inspo pic that they have lift n volume. I really don’t like confrontation and didn’t want my daughter to feel even more upset because I could tell she was already sad. There’s really nothing that could have been done at that point you can’t add hair back that’s already gone. If your considering bangs I would suggest not going to Rachael.

  Want to schedule a kids haircut. Cannot do in online system without booking an appointment for myself as well. I've called every day since Monday. No call back. Went to the store on Saturday, the hairstylist could not do it that day (understandable) but also refused to book us for another time. Impossible to do anything there unless it is online. I used to come in for my own hair years ago. Will not be going back now, especially since they can't even return a call. Would not be leaving the review if they would have scheduled us for another time or actually answered their phones.

  I’m never one to leave a bad review but i’m just very upset with my experience and it’s been almost 2 weeks. I will share my hair before, after and my inspo in this review. I had a good experience with the service I received. Ellen and Rachel were very polite. Unfortunately, as for my hair, my hair was dead and dry. While they did warn me about the dry issue. I didn’t expect to leave with my hair completely dead with a wedding to be in 2 weeks from then. I paid WAY too much for this experience, on top of having to get my hair professionally fixed by somebody else within the same week. i’m very disappointed. Usually, after sitting a while with bleach in my hair I thought maybe she’d rinse me so she wouldn’t fry my hair. Instead I sat in that chair for 5 hours with bleach sitting on my head, slowly killing my hair. My hair was long, and healthy. In the end, my hair came out so many different colors and she didn’t seem to want to tone me down. She tried purple shampoo but then left me as I was. I was also charged $50 on 2 pumps of Olaplex, which is crazy to me considering at that point I could’ve bought the bottles. the first picture is my before. 2nd was my inspo and i even mentioned to her wanting to go at a process and not expecting that in 1 session because i didn’t want my hair fried. and the last 2 were my after.

  Ellen Wehmeier is a true artist when it comes to hair! I received a haircut and a blow dry and then she styled my hair so cute. She is very personable and has a unique intuition when it comes to hair design.

  I had a color service done by Ellen and she went above expectations. She explained what she was doing and why, answered questions, and made my inspo pics reality. I highly recommend this salon for your next service!
