I can’t say enough great things about Jordyn at Blue Skies Salon! She completely transformed my hair from a choppy angled bob into the long, beautiful hair I’ve always wanted using K-tip extensions.
The color match is flawless, the extensions blend seamlessly, and they look and feel incredibly natural. Jordyn took her time to make sure every detail was perfect, and her talent and attention to detail truly show in the final result.
If you’re considering extensions, I highly recommend booking with Jordyn. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about helping her clients feel confident. I walked out feeling like a whole new person, and I couldn’t be happier with my hair. Thank you, Jordyn, for such an amazing transformation!
Katie was awesome! I was nervous when I first got there and she made me feel comfortable with the plan for my hair before we began. She talked me through each step and just made me feel comfortable in her chair. I absolutely love my hair thank you!
This is my third visit to Katie and she’s wonderful. My hair looks amazing every time. As a natural brunette I know just going copper might not be exciting for some hair stylists nowadays but it’s the best my work will let me have. Katie helps me flirt the line with vivid and natural while giving me a great cut and always has me leaving feeling great.
Plus, my boyfriend always comments when I come home. And he never noticed when I made changes before. It would be worth the “you look beautiful” each time.
I had an appointment for 11:45am. It wasn’t until 12:20 that I was called back, no explanation given. When i booked online it said my hair cut would be $42.00. I was charged $60. The hair cut was great, the fact that 35 minutes of my time wasn’t considered is gross. The price switch with no explanation after I waited 35 minutes means I won’t be back. So if you want to overpay for an experience while waiting on them to decide they feel like cutting your hair this is the place to go. If you want someone who treats you with respect and courtesy and sticks to their prices posted this is not the place to go. I’m so disappointed as this was Reditt recommended. I’ve updated that post to let them know my experience was much less than stellar.

I chose Blu Skies Salon because I had followed their work on social media for years and was consistently impressed by the results. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing.
Before my appointment, I fully disclosed that I had black box dye on my hair. Erika explained that this would be considered a color correction, could affect how light my hair would get, and would increase the cost. I completely understood and agreed. I wasn’t expecting perfection—I simply wanted a dimensional balayage/ombré look similar to the inspiration photos I provided.
I spent over 7 hours in the salon and paid around $400 for a cut, color correction, bleach, and toner. When my hair was finished, it was extremely brassy, patchy, and uneven. There were obvious bands of different colors and very little blending. I expressed concern before leaving and was told Erika was “at the mercy of my hair.” I was then told I could come back the following week and pay an additional $150 to lighten it again.
When I got home and was able to see the back of my hair, I was devastated. I immediately contacted Erika and sent photos. She offered to have me return for a complimentary correction before my upcoming vacation.
During the second appointment, my ends were lightened and initially seemed much improved. However, after toning, my hair ended up as one solid shade that looked very similar to my natural brown color, completely losing the dimensional look I had requested.
Another concern was that at the beginning of the second appointment, I was asked to sign a color correction consent form that should have been signed before the original service. Being asked to sign it after the initial appointment and after the poor results left me feeling uncomfortable.
Afterward, I sent a detailed message to salon management explaining my experience and providing photos. Their response was simply that they would “take my concerns into consideration.” No refund, credit, additional corrective service, or other remedy was offered. After spending approximately $400 and going through two appointments, I was disappointed that my concerns were acknowledged but not meaningfully addressed.
I understand that color corrections can be challenging and that not every inspiration photo is achievable. However, I chose a salon that advertises experienced stylists and blonde specialists because I wanted professional guidance and results. Instead, I left with hair that looked nothing like what I requested and feeling frustrated, disappointed, and heartbroken. Based on my experience, I would not return.

The reply I got on this review is absolutely ridiculous. Dang near a copy and paste from the reply I got via email. NOTHING, over a month later has been done to rectify the situation. I’m absolutely disgusted with this salon and will tell everyone every chance I get to steer clear.
