    I attempted to return an unused $180 dollar perfume with receipt that was purchased on May 11th as a birthday gift for me . I spent 30 to 40 minutes smelling perfumes only to be told that today would be the 31st day as it is the 11th of June & there were 31 days in the month of May. I get it, but in the same breath going off of the policy online. The manger has the authorization to overturn. This was the first time I have been gifted or shopped at Sephora personally. I was not asking for money or a gift card. I was exchanging for a fragrance that was close to the same price and would pay the difference.

    I love this sephora! The employees are so kind and helpful, a young woman helped me find, and buy a gift for my daughter’s birthday. I prefer this one over the one in Kohl’s any day, as their selection variety is much poorer. Terrific experience and beautiful store!

    Girl with colored hair was rude for no reason. She went to the back to get a certain cologne for me. (For context, there were two colognes that looked nearly identical, and I wanted the one in the lighter colored bottle.) When she came out, the packaging didn’t look right to me. It was darker, and it didn’t have anything other than the brand name on it to indicate what was inside. But of course I trusted her because she works there and knows what’s she’s doing. However, when I went to check out, the price rang up different as to what was posted on the display. Naturally, I wanted to double check that I was buying the right thing (because again there were two bottles that looked nearly identical, and the packaging only had the brand name on it.) That seems pretty reasonable to me, as the price was wrong and the packaging seemed wrong. All I asked was to double check and make sure I was buying the right thing, no big deal right? Oh no… For some reason she took it as a personal attack. She very obnoxiously made it a point to tell me multiple times that she grabbed the right thing. I never once said she grabbed the wrong thing, I just said I wanted to double check since the wrong price came up. She was incredibly passive aggressive and condescending about the whole deal, as if to say “How dare you question me??” I’m not normally one to leave reviews but this interaction genuinely left such a bad taste in my mouth.
