  I purchased a new $64 Christian Dior foundation that I had never tried before from the Lee’s Summit, Missouri Sephora location. I was assured at the time of purchase that I could bring it back if I was not happy with it. No mention of how many days. I recently tried to return said foundation because it is too dark for my liking.After wandering around the store looking for an associate, I found them all gathered together visiting -nowhere near the check out counter or store entrance-and one of them attempted to help me. I was told I could not return it because it had been 32 days and Sephora’s “new” policy is strictly 30 days.The girl who helped me could not have cared less that I was unhappy. I have been a Sephora customer for years and have spent a lot of money there. I will not ever be a customer of Sephora again. Ulta’s return policy is 60 days. I went to Ulta after leaving Sephora and had no problem finding several associates ready and willing to help me throughout the store as well as at the checkout counter.

  Place is nice and very well stocked. Shout out to Becki and Lilly. They were so kind as the answered my way too many questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. All the staff is so friendly there and will definitely be making trips out to this location again.

  I attempted to return an unused $180 dollar perfume with receipt that was purchased on May 11th as a birthday gift for me . I spent 30 to 40 minutes smelling perfumes only to be told that today would be the 31st day as it is the 11th of June & there were 31 days in the month of May. I get it, but in the same breath going off of the policy online. The manger has the authorization to overturn. This was the first time I have been gifted or shopped at Sephora personally. I was not asking for money or a gift card. I was exchanging for a fragrance that was close to the same price and would pay the difference.
