- SNS NiasAug 22, 20261.0Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my makeup service at Salon Ultimo. The makeup application was not what I expected, My eyelashes came off before I even arrived at the wedding, which was very frustrating. The artist didn’t even know how to apply eyeliner. Even more concerning, the lipstick used on me smelled old, possibly expired and artist was scraping what ever was left on the bottom. Everyone knows what an old makeup smells like. I expected better attention to product quality and hygiene, especially for a professional makeup service. At one point she said “you can apply the lipstick when you get home.” Very disappointing! Despite the experience, I was charged $96. Based on the quality and experience, I did not feel it was worth the price. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Salon Ultimo to others for makeup services. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and skill. In my experience, retailers such as Sephora and MAC provide a much more polished makeup application at prices that are more appropriate for the quality of service provided.
