Lucas here! First time visit at 18/8 Fine Mens Salon was incredible!! I had an amazing experience while Karsyn and i spoke. She has wonderful communication, a bright and bubbly personality, and somebody you feel like you can trust and depend on with your appearance. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and did so quickly as well!
HIGHLY recommend as someone who has had terrible experiences in the past with people not following instruction correctly at OTHER salons across the US.
Thanks for a great experience, I’ll definitely be returning💚.

Just went to 18/8 and bre cut my hair by far the best customer service and haircut I have gotten. She really does care what your hair looks like when she is done she strives for perfection! If you decide to give this shop a try ask for bre she is the definition of a perfectionist you will not be disappointed!

I went to 18/8 last week to get my hair cut, my hairstylists name was Brie. I asked her for a modern mullet but to leave the sides a bit longer than a buzz, she told me she had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently she's never heard of a modern mullet. After 15 minutes she said she was done and it didn't look great so I asked her to take some more off. she does, and I get up and leave with an ok haircut. Until later when I get home I realize the left side of my hair is at least a few centimeters longer than the right. She also cut less off the top of my left side. I am now going somewhere else to have them fix it. I had a haircut with Brie about a year ago and I got a much better haircut than now. Seems like she rushed my cut to get me out of there. i Paid $65 not including tip for a great clips haircut. The place is nice, but I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning. Come here if you want a waste of money. 2 stars is generous for my experience.

Don’t get a cut from Deana! My son has been going here and getting cuts from Nate who has done a great job. We appreciate the lower cost for high school students and the location. Nate is personable and skilled. But yesterday Nate wasn’t available so my son got the worst cut I have ever seen by Deana! He is mortified and doesn’t want to go out in public. We’re trying everything we can to make it work but it’s just so so bad. Bad style for him, not even close to what he asked for, but also it’s uneven and choppy. And he didn’t feel like she listened to him at all. A total waste of money.
Update: The owner Andrew called almost immediately and spoke to my son, arranging for a new cut (in a few weeks once it grows back out) and compensating for the bad cut. We’re impressed with his business practice and accountability! He’ll go back to fix it and I hope we can continue to have a great place for his cuts in the future. Still not with Dena, but we’re optimistic.
