I was here every other day when I lived in Minnesota, I make sure to pop in every few months and the ladies are still excellent.

I hate leaving a one-star review because I know how tough retail can be, and I do want to mention that the staff who greeted me and offered assistance were friendly and kind.
That said, the store was surprisingly filthy. I understand that makeup testers are meant to be used and can get messy throughout the day, but there was makeup smudged everywhere, and I mean everywhere. On displays, mirrors, shelves, price tags, unopened makeup products, and even around the tissue stations. It honestly looked like many of the fixtures hadn't ever been wiped down.
I went in knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase, but the overall cleanliness of the store made me uncomfortable enough that I ended up leaving without buying anything. The environment just didn't feel clean or well-maintained.
I also observed one employee standing in the middle of an aisle spraying herself with fragrance and vigorously fanning herself, which blocked part of the walkway. While everyone has off moments, it came across as unprofessional from a customer perspective.
I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Sephora is usually a place I enjoy shopping, and I would love to see more attention given to store cleanliness and presentation.

I was there buying skin care and the Employee named ROLLY he had long hair and glasses was extremely rude to me and my friend. He was looking at me and her up and down with a disgusted look on his face which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and not welcome in the store. This was my first time going in there and I will NEVER return to Sephora again. Other employees in that store also said he was very rude all the time. So if I was you I would go to a different location not the one in the mall of America where that ROLLY dude works.

The employee Rolly the man with glasses and long hair was extremely disrespectful to me and my friend and was looking at us up and down the second we walked in the store and he did this three times laughing at us with other employees. Which is not OK. None of us deserve that type of treatment. He has a really bad attitude And we will never shop at this location again because of that unless we absolutely have to more than likely, we don’t. I will be reaching out to the direct manager as well Because I come from management of 10 years in retail and this is not how you treat customers as an employee Whatever attitude he has, he needs to leave it at home and realize that he’s at work and this is customer service. Grow up ROLLY the man with glasses and long hair.
For the first time in my life, I found my exact foundation shade thanks to this Sephora! I was visiting the Mall of America from Canada last weekend and this ended up being the best purchase of my trip. The employee who helped me finally got my undertone right after years of being matched incorrectly at other Sephoras. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel so confident wearing foundation, that now I wear it all the time. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves all the recognition. The other employees were all so fabulous and I loved how they seemed like a united team. 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Next time I'm visiting from Canada, I will definitely be back there.
