  I recently visited ROWAN piercing studio at Mall of America and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, patient, and clearly knowledgeable. They walked me through every step, explained aftercare thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. The studio was clean, organized, and had a great selection of jewelry. My piercing healed beautifully, and I’m very happy with the result. Highly recommend this place if you want a safe, professional, and pleasant piercing experience

  Be wary of sneaky language around pricing. I recently received lobe piercings. The workers were kind and knowledgeable, but the pricing strategies were deceitful. I believe the team, as instructed by management and the Rowan brand, are trained to speak slyly about pricing. Examples- I was told that I would be sent home with cleaning solution. I was suprised later to see it cost me $18. So I wasn't actually being sent home with the solution- which implied it would be given to me because of purchasing the service. The piercing cost is per piercing, not as a service. So two matching lobe piercings cost 70, not $35. It is stated in fine print but when I asked it was never verbally communicated. I was told if I left a Google review I'd receive 10% off the solution and a pair of earrings I also purchased. This is an illegal practice as you can't bribe people for reviews. The worst though was at the end of the purchase transaction when I was asked to choose what tip I'd like to include. I didn't even consider a tip in this type of service because the provider is a nurse and I would suspect she is making a decent wage. But I felt pressured when directly asked to choose a tipping option: 15%, 20% or 25%. I just chose the 15% out of feeling rushed and put on the spot. Later I realized the percentage was based on the total pricing of 276, including all earrings and the solution! It should have only have been based on the actual service portion. That was really shady. why should I tip on the earrings I chose and the solution I was told would be sent home with me? I felt rushed and stupidly tipped her $41 dollars for a 70 dollar service! She was nice and thorough, but that was technically a 58% tip! I love my piercings but do feel like I was swindled.

  My daughter let her piercings close after not wearing earrings for years. They were able to reopen one piercing and the other ear had to be re-pierced. The employees were so kind and were really fun with ny daughter while she was picking out earrings.

  My granddaughter 1.5 years old had ear piercing done here on August 16,2026. One nurse assisting for marking the spot was talking so nicely with my sweetie. The nurse who did the piercing was awesome, within few minutes, before my apple pie could understand what was happening, both ears were pierced. She didn’t cry much . No infection. She is doing well now . Thank you very much . Keep it up. 👍

  Emma and Ingrid at Rowan in the Mall of America were absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in, they made the entire experience feel special. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and so much fun to be around. Their attention to detail and expertise made us feel completely comfortable and confident, and their piercing skills were fantastic. What really stood out, though, was the service. Emma and Ingrid created such a warm, upbeat atmosphere and turned what could have been a simple piercing appointment into a genuinely memorable experience. We laughed, felt completely cared for, and left so happy. This is exactly what exceptional customer service looks like. If you’re considering a piercing at Rowan, go see Emma and Ingrid at the Mall of America. They are wonderful at what they do and even more wonderful with people. 10/10 experience from start to finish!
