- JJJessica JesnayeApr 27, 20261.0I wish I could give a zero star smh I came in around 5pm today there was a lady that from the beginning looked like she didn’t want me and my son in there. Told me I would have to wait 30 mins which I was fine with and she looked like she didn’t want me to be fine with waiting. So after 30 mins she sits my son down and looking then touches my sons curly hair and says yeah no his hair is too knotted which it wasn’t it was just normal curly hair and the back where she was touching it was literally just one part where it was a little tangled) the way she kept saying it and just looking at me saying I will have to be the one to comb it out cause they don’t do that there I just looked around and saw Caucasian men so clearly this lady was being racist and I realized that since from the beginning she was looking at him some type of way. I’m very upset because like I told that lady we have been here before his name is even on record and this never happened and she’s like no we don’t detangle here and there’s a different process but we don’t offer it. So long story short she refused to give him services mind you, again….. his hair is thin just curly and not knotted enough to where I can understand, simple knots even I have and I go there from time to time and NEVER had this issue. So I will never be coming back here because my son was discriminated because he is mixed with black.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
