  I have been a loyal Spa Nordstrom customer in Troy for more than 13 years, and unfortunately, the level of customer service has declined significantly over the past several years. I have had multiple appointments changed because an esthetician was unavailable, and since the pandemic, evening appointments have become extremely difficult to get. I continued going because I had a regular esthetician I trusted. Unfortunately, my experience this past May was especially upsetting. The esthetician I was scheduled with arrived 30 minutes late, which resulted in a rushed eyebrow wax. I ended up with a waxing burn that removed skin above my eyebrow. After that, I simply decided I would no longer book with that esthetician and would return to my regular person. I made an appointment with my regular esthetician months ago for this Sunday and confirmed it. About an hour later, I received a call telling me she would not be working that day. I was offered another esthetician, but after my experience in May, I was not comfortable doing that. Since I am leaving for a trip this weekend, I had to scramble to find another spa that could accommodate me. After 13 years, I decided I had reached my limit and posted this review. I was subsequently contacted by Nordstrom management, who listened to my concerns. I appreciate that they took the time to reach out and make an effort to address my concerns. My previous experiences still stand, but I do appreciate management taking my complaint seriously and making an effort to make things right.
