  Had a great experience at Great Clips near Meijer off 26 Mile Road. I took my boys in for haircuts and all I can say is — the boys look great. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. We were greeted right away, checked in quickly, and taken care of almost immediately. Before heading over, I checked nearby locations online to compare wait times for a Sunday, and this location had the quickest availability. I also scheduled ahead online, which I definitely recommend doing. It makes the whole process smoother and helps avoid sitting around waiting as a walk-in. What stood out the most to me was how respectful and patient the staff was with my kids. They made sure the boys felt comfortable throughout the entire haircut process and created a really welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the team genuinely cares about customer experience and making families feel at ease. Fast, friendly, professional service and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back.

  Stylists friendly, But I was more interested in the haircut, uneven and he didn't listen to what ask for!

  “Stopped in with my two kids expecting a quick, easy haircut and got… a full experience. No hello, just straight into confusing check-in commentary happening around me like I wasn’t part of it. Then somehow we skipped basic small talk and went right to ‘are you okay?’ — I promise I’m just a tired mom, not mid-breakdown 😅 Haircuts were done quickly… very quickly. Let’s just say speed was the priority. At checkout, I was told not to let my kids take too many Dum Dum suckers, followed by a reminder that they’ll ruin their teeth — thank you, I’ll be sure to notify their dentist immediately. The salon wasn’t busy, so this really came down to tone and customer service. Came for trims, left with shorter hair and a slightly confusing life experience. also, not a good experience for a first haircut for a small child was really upset and nearly cried curls all gone and didn't leave enough on top ☹️ May I add this is not the first bad experience at any Great clips, they always seem to mess up basic haircuts. don't ask me why!

  Checked in online and arrived with two kids. There was no greeting, and I overheard the stylist telling another customer ‘you checked in — not worried about you,’ which came off dismissive. The tone toward me wasn’t welcoming either. The salon wasn’t busy, so I chose to leave. I should have learned from the past in which they consistently cut my hair and my daughter's hair wrong. won't be back. the blonde at the front is so unwelcoming and unfriendly, especially for kids. 😬 hello is a good idea. I was jugglinga toddler and another child, how about friendliness.

  First I'd like to state that everyone was nice. I was fairly confident with my stylist as we were talking although him not wanting to look at the reference pictures I brought should've been my first red flag. I don't think what I had asked for was a lot. I'd asked to cut my hair to just above my shoulders, remove the damaged ends (which that much off would've done), choppy layers, and face framing bangs. I was given a straight bob, with several sections I had to cut when I got home because pieces were missed (they were longer than the rest of my hair, basically had a rat tail on the back), basically straight across bangs to which I did try to explain better on how I wanted the bangs to the point of the stylist handing me his comb. It felt like he was rushing me the whole time and didn't even dry my hair, he had me leave with wet hair. I'd asked about the layers because I only noticed him cutting behind me, and didn't notice him spending as much time on the front, to which he "assured" me he'd put the layers in. There's no layers, he gave me a straight cut and then lied. I've had layers done in my hair repeatedly for the last 15 years, I know how layers are supposed to look. Should I have pushed these issues while there, yes, though I didn't notice most of them until I got home because my hair was still wet. If I do go back I will not be having him as a stylist.
