  Nurse Liz was EXCEPTIONAL. She pierced me, my baby, and my bestie! She throughly explained everything about after care etc HIGHLY recommend coming here :)

  Made an appointment on my lunch break walked in and he was helped immediately got the most stunning jewelry and two piercings and was out of there and no more than 20 minutes. I cannot wait to figure out what I want pierced next just so I can come back.

  They are very nice and we had a fine experience for my daughter's ear lobe piercing. However, I would recommend going to a real piercer over Rowan. About 3 months after getting pierced at Rowan, we realized my daughter's earring had fallen out of her ear. I was unable to get an earring through, so I took her to get looked at here. The nurse briefly tried to use a taper and then said we would need to get her ear pierced again. She offered to re-pierce on the spot, which didn't seem quite right to me. I took her a week later to an experienced piercer at a tattoo shop. He told me that they absolutely should not have offered to re-pierce as it would be through scar tissue and hurt a lot. The piercer was able to successfully use a taper to stretch out the original piercing hole and insert an earring. My daughter was so happy she didn't need to be pierced again and I was happy we avoided additional pain/potential trauma to her ear by re-piercing at Rowan. We will be sticking to a reputable, experienced piercer moving forward.

  I went to Rowan in Birmingham, Mi. on Friday with my family as our Granddaughter was having her ears pierced for her first birthday. I, as well as my daughter in law, decided to have some piercings done too. Lourdes did mine and she was fantastic! From explaining to hat will happen to her gentleness for my conch needle piercing to going over after care. Of course it’s still tender yet expected. Looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks to change out the post. Thanks again!

  I had a great in-store piercing experience, but unfortunately that was overshadowed by a disappointing follow-up customer service experience. I spent nearly $500 for two piercings and intentionally chose to invest in the $228, 14k diamond beaded bar piercing stud. At that price point, I expected it to be a quality piece of jewelry that would last for years--that was the entire reason I chose it. Just over three months after my piercing, the post of the earring broke off into the backing. I had not even removed the jewelry from my ear yet, so this was not the result of repeated wear or mishandling. When I reached out to the store, I was disappointed that they refused to offer any solution or stand behind the product. There was no repair, replacement, or other attempt to make things right. I escalated the issue to management in hopes my outcome would change but I again was met with no support or resolution. For a business that claims to sell premium jewelry, I expected much better customer service and a willingness to support the products they sell. While the piercing itself was a positive experience, the lack of support after a quality issue after only a few months left me feeling like my business ended the moment I walked out the door. Because of that, I can't confidently recommend this business.
