  Went in to get my haircut and was greatly surprised by how caring the staff was and how clean the facilities were. The haircut was awesome and I really appreciate it!

  I’ve been going to see Jen at Avissa for a while now, and the difference in my hair is honestly incredible. It looks so much healthier, feels stronger, and has a shine and softness I didn’t have before. She really takes the time to understand what your hair needs and gives great advice on how to maintain it between visits. Not only is Jen super skilled, but she makes every appointment a great experience. My hair has never looked or felt this good—I get compliments all the time now. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with it and highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve the health and overall look of their hair.

  Update: Jennifer, the salon manager reached out to me based on my review and could not have been any kinder. She was willing to do whatever was needed to make me happy. There isn't much we can do with my hair it just needs to grow, but it is truly rare for a business to reach out to make things right. Jennifer truly went above and beyond and for that reason I changed my rating. Thank you Jennifer, your kindness and empathy are a rare quality seen these days and I truly appreciate you reaching out. ----------- Absolute WORST haircut of my life! I went in to what I thought was going to be a salon with seasoned professionals and while there were some there the person I got (whose name I have blocked out of my mind) clearly didn't have a clue. I asked for a razor cut and was told that was her specialty- clearly it was not! She used a feather razor versus a straight razor, she used it only on the back and then moved into using scissors. I wanted to maintain length and do layers - not only did I lose over 5 inches in length- she did not connect the cut and destroyed my ends with the razor she used. The manager Jennifer had to step in and unfortunately to correct it she had to cut off even more length to connect the cut (which she unfortunately was unable to fully do because there was not a lot yo work with after the first girl jacked my hair up. The first stylist didn't even know how to use a round brush for a blow out. I would not have minded paying the price that was what I would consider for a professional cut but this should have been free with as much wreckage that was caused. So now I'm stuck growing it back out and wearing it up until it grows.

  Kimia is a very reliable hair dresser who always gives me great cuts and Elizabeth gave my husband the best haircut he's ever had. Highly recommend for both women and men.
