  Traveled to Maine for vacation and booked a massage at the tree house yesterday. I booked what I thought was a lymphatic massage with oils etc. the price was $220 for 1 hr which is exceptionally higher than Chicago if you can believe it. I had a massage with a therapist who I really really like and none of this has to do with her but with the resort and misleading descriptions had me thinking I was getting a lymphatic massage but it was sadly not the case. Basically I got massaged on each area for 1-2 min max and then a hot towel on each part. It was like a 20 min massage and the rest was oils and hot towels..? When I was done she mentioned there are more lymphatic massage therapists that can get deeper but that’s what I thought I was getting in the first place? I was really disappointed kinda after I left for spending $275 with a 25% tip. Honestly I’d like some money back because I didn’t even feel like I got a proper massage or what I came for. This is not on her… again she was a wonderful person and massage therapist, but this is on hidden pond. I would love a manager to reach out to me because descriptions online are INCREDIBLY misleading and out of this world expensive for the service I received. I’m not happy with it for the price I paid it’s a rip off. Tree house is stunning but yeah really disappointed I paid almost $300 for nothing. Sorry to my therapist this has nothing to do with her and this needs to be addressed with management. I’m seeing similar reviews as well.

  Such a wonderful experience. The couples massage was amazing, and the room was incredibly cozy and inviting. Everything felt calm, thoughtful, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

  The place is very beautiful but for that price I would have expected better: - booked at 90 mins couple massage got 80 mins (started late finished early) - massage quality was below average compared to other places in Maine - there is a 20% tip but this is mentioned on their website. For clarity I would just put this in the price as a fee. This came as a surprise for us... just be aware when you book there add 20% for this
