I went in Wednesday evening with a wild request that I was sure was going to raise someone’s eyebrows lol. But fortunately for me I was assigned to The Amazing Faith!! Who listened to my strange circumstances (didn’t laugh) and tackled the problem like a pro!! I hope whoever checks the reviews informs her manager that have a real deal lifesaver on the team. Btw just to be sure ,it’s the store in Townson mall.

Good makeup selection and great location if youre already going to the mall. Fun-looking and great return policy. However, it kinda sucks you gotta research makeup beforehand, vs being able to rely on the staff to help. In my experience, they don't know basics even, such as how to contour a nose, (so they also can't help you properly pick out shades...except maybe basic foundation or concealer, but I wouldn't count on that either).
Makeup, return policy, overall look of store = great.
I do NOT recommend anyone to pay for makeup services or to rely on the staff to understand what youre asking for or to match a shade or recommend something specifically for you.

I went in to buy a few new fragrances . The white staff is very racist. I walked in first and they were grouped up chatting in front of the door they all looked at me as I walked in and said nothing just stares , a white lady walked in 10 secs after me and they all greeted her with a “welcome to Sephora” . I gagged like “oh”white lady with dark brown just looked at me . I am very expressive so I already made up my mind that I wouldn’t buy anything at this location. As I’m smelling the perfumes I’m assuming whoever in the earpieces sent the black ladies to keep asking me if I needed any help every aisle I went in and I’m only smelling perfumes on the side.💀 Will never even go back in this location I hate micro-aggressions

Visiting this store on 7/18 was the most terrible Sephora experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been a Rouge for several years and have never wanted to run out of a Sephora before this one. I was swatching various foundations because, while I’m happy with the Ilia serum foundation, I’m always on the lookout for new products. I have a warm olive undertone and tan very quickly in the summer, so I typically have to mix shades together to get a perfect match. I’m very familiar with my undertone after years of experimenting and consulting with MUAs. One particular employee at this store approached me while I was looking at the NARS section, and was very pushy about seeing my “perfect match” based on her “years of experience.” I never asked for her assistance but she kept insisting that I try a cool shade. It matched my depth, but cool undertones always pull gray or pink on me. I let her swatch my neck to show her how pink it looked. She first insisted it matched my skin, then when she saw that it didn’t, she said “well, I’m matching it to the makeup you’re currently wearing”…. This obviously makes no sense since I was wearing a warm olive shade. After my polite responses were met with condescension and eventually defensiveness, I finally just had to say I’m good, thank you, in order to end the conversation. I’ll never be back to this location since some of the employees clearly need training in both color theory and customer service.
