  I was happy to find a Sephora near me. I wish I would have shopped online instead. No one greeted or helped me. I waited at the register patiently for someone to come. Still the staff who came to the register (she had a lot of pink on her eyes and cheeks but I couldn't get her name), came to me with an attitude. She looked at me up and down and said "that's all? The eyeliner?". I felt so embarrassed asking to redeem my birthday gift. Maybe she thought I was a young teen or possible shoplifter because of my appearance and the browsing I did beforehand. Then she became visibly annoyed when I asked to bypass the kohls signup and just enter my sephora number. The whole interaction was very weird. I felt unwelcome. I wanted to review through the survey, but the link was broken.

  The two black women that worked on 7/9/2026 in the morning shift, need to be re-trained on customer service. Very snippy and would cut me off when I was trying to talk and ask questions. Did not make eye contact and when I needed help by showing them a picture of something their response was “you just took a picture of it…?” And seemed very annoyed. Would rather make the trip to Rockville location to get better service.

  I ran out of foundation, and this is the closest Sophora near my job. I left my job at 9 o'clock and I was happy that this before our closes at 10 got there at 9:20 i still have my uniform on and my name tag on me.. My intention was to get the foundation I needed, but since I was there, I might as well restock. One lady was super sweet and gave me the best customer service.On the other hand the other employee dressed as a joker didn't help whatsoever.I asked her if they carried the dior lip oils, instead of showing me all the lip oils they have available.She kept hovering around as if I was going to steal something.It made my purchase uncomfortable and unsatisfied and definitely unpleasant.There were other people there too shopping. I just picked anything but I didn't appreciate her hovering around me like a Wolf. As if I didn't have the money to buy the things I had in my hand once I was ready to check out she was tailgating me all the way up to the cashier checkout. The other person that was there.Shopping literally had to come up to the checkout, just to double check what she had in her hand is what she's looking for instead of them coming up to her checking.If everything is okay.That's when she quickly checked me out. While im making the payment and taking my time because I have 5 banks. I decided to move money into one of my bank to another bank.Since i'm in the process of moving, I know I should have not made this purchase.But hey your girl adores makeup. She kept coughing as an unsatisfied, pleasant cough. I didn't appreciate the signals. I didn't appreciate the attitude. It was unnecessary. I understand she wanted to go home is the last hour, but I'd rather take my money spend the amount I usually spend every time I show up like, about $500 taking my time to see what I need. And restock and buy whatever is not necessary at another location. And honestly, I had to find my way around There was only two people shopping there and two employees instead of guiding me to see what brand I'm looking for. I had to find it myself .. Awful customer service.I would never recommend someone to shop at this location I'd rather go to a corporate standalone sophora.
