Injectable Neuro-modulators such as Botox are FDA-approved treatments that temporarily improves the appearance of lines on the forehead, crow’s feet around the eyes, and frown lines in the brow area. These injections can last about three to six months depending on the area you are treating, type of the neuro-modulator used. These are injected into the facial muscles to help them relax for a naturally refreshed look. Neuromodulators are also used off-label for using treatment for neckbands, chin dimples, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and jawline slimming. Botox has been clinically trialed and studied and is very safe and effective.

The fillers are made from hyaluronic acid. They help eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections. Results? Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process then begins which involves swelling for about 3-7 days depending on the amount injected, area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. How long do results last? Longevity differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average longevity based on treatment: How many treatments are needed ? Facial fillers are a temporary solution, and therefore to maintain results, treatments will need to be administered on a recurring basis. Will I need time to recover? Bruising is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Platelet Rich Plasma, or “Liquid Gold” as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. The patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then used for treatment. The amazing benefits of PRP can be used to stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, encourage the body’s production of collagen, and much more. How does PRP work? Plasma is a component of our blood and contains proteins which help the blood to clot and support cell growth. Platelets are found within the blood and are responsible for recognizing and repairing damaged cells by forming a plug, or clot. PRP Treatments use the body’s own healing processes to rejuvenate the skin and promote new cell growth. During treatment, a member of our experienced and trained staff will draw blood from your arm. The small vial of blood will be placed and spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. This process concentrates the platelet count to about 4x the normal amount. The platelet rich plasma is then applied topically or injected into the skin for treatment. PRP has been shown to help fade darkness under eyes, provide natural facial volume restoration, and even help with hair loss when injected into the scalp. Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) which is a complex Fibrin Matrix rich in Platelets, Leukocytes and Mesenchymal stem cells. For 10-12 days this results in the constant release of Growth factors and interleukins which accelerate tissue healing and regenerating processes. This 100% autologous rejuvenation technique is a substantial progress from the well-established PRP (or Platelet-Rich Plasma) technique where growth factors are all released only for a few minutes after treatment. This is all natural. There is no coating, additive or anticoagulant present in the tubes and it is proven to release a higher concentration of growth factors for a longer period. In Cosmetic surgery, PRF is used to accelerate the wound healing process and reduces scarring. In Aesthetics, PRF is used to treat alone or in combination with collagen induction therapy to treat: Hair loss ; Dark circles; Acne scarring ; Wrinkles and fine lines ;Tear troughs and deep folds; Brown spots (face, neck, décolleté); Volume loss and symmetry adjustment This treatment is highly dependable on the level of hydration of the patient (patients need to start hydration process 72 hours before treatment). Patients who smoke may have less response to this treatment. PRF is effective in most cases; no guarantees can be made that a specific patient will benefit from this procedure which is why a consultation is so important. Additionally, the nature of cosmetic procedure may require a patient to return for numerous visits in order to achieve the desired results or to determine whether PRF may not be completely effective at treating the particular condition. The average patient needs about 3-4 treatment sessions separated by 4-6 weeks and the final result won’t be readily visible for 4-9 months. Treatment Breakdown: You may take pain medication such as Tylenol. A numbing cream is applied to the area of treatment. Approximately 13-52cc of whole blood is drawn from your arm. The tubes of blood are centrifuged to separate the component cells. Platelets, Leukocytes and Mesenchymal stem cells are separated and used for this procedure. The liquid is then transferred into a syringe and injected using a tiny needle. Info is from https://ezprf.com/ Results: Noticeable results are visible within 4-9 months. Results from PRP/PRF Treatments are expected to be long-lasting, though results may vary from person to person. How many treatments ? The number of treatments varies from person to person, but on average, we recommend 3-4 treatment sessions separated by 4-6 weeks then 1-2 treatments per year for maintenance. Recovery? For injections, bruising and swelling is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations. For micro needling with PRP/PRF, recovery lasts from 1-2 days with reddened skin, no peeling.

Sculptra is an injectable cosmetic filler. Sculptra is used to restore facial volume lost due to aging or illness. It is a collagen stimulator, not a facial filler. Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production. Sculptra can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give you a more youthful appearance. Sculptra is injected deep into the dermis and gradually improves the affected area. The Sculptra process takes several weeks. You gradually begin to look younger, not all at once. No one can say for sure that you have had something cosmetically done; they are kept guessing. What is Sculptra®? Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen. It restores volume while tightening and thickening the skin. Sculptra® is not like a regular hyaluronic acid filler that immediately volumizes and gives visible results right away. With Sculptra®, you will see a natural filling effect within the first couple days, followed but a decrease in volume. At this point, the body slowly starts to produce its own collagen, re-establishing volume that has been lost over time. How does Sculptra® work? As explained on the Sculptra® website, “Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. The specialist injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. When will I see results? Noticeable within 3-4 months. How long do results last? Results can last up to two to three years. How many treatments will I need? The number of treatments varies from person to person, but on average, three treatments within the span of a few months is recommended. Will I need time to recover? Bruising is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations. What is the difference between filler and Sculptra? Fillers are gel substances, like hyaluronic acid, that diminish lines by pushing up the dermis space beneath wrinkles and creases. Results appear immediately and can last up to several months. Collagen stimulators are used to diminish facial wrinkles by helping to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.* -Sculptra® Website

A PDO Threads is a treatment that lifts and tightens sagging skin tissues using threads made of polydioxanone. The lifting thread is introduced deep into the layer of the skin and produces three effects: Instant skin lifting through mechanical effects, Cellular renewal through collagen stimulation and neovascularization to improve texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. Skin tightening by approximating tissues. Threads disappear through hydrolysis after six months. The lifted facial contours can remain for up to two years due to cellular rejuvenation effects. PDO thread treatments are safe, and there are very few side effects. PDO Thread Lift are non-surgical and minimally invasive. There are no incisions, and no scars are visible. Thread lifting is considered a middle ground between surgery and fillers. It is a unique advancement in non-surgical face rejuvenation. PDO threads have been successfully used in surgery since the 1980s. A medical-grade thread is inserted into the target area in thread lifts. The thread lifts the skin, triggers collagen renewal, and helps the treatment area become plumper and younger-looking. Around six months, your body absorbs the medical-grade thread, and the body washes the threads away naturally through hydrolysis. PDO Thread Lifts are safe, generally painless, and you can leave the clinic within minutes after the procedure. You may experience swelling that only lasts a few days. Thread Lifts may take three to six months for collagen and elastin to rebuild and lift your face. PDO Thread Lifts performed by a trained professional have a low risk of scarring, bleeding, or severe bruising. Puckering may occur, which is rare. If these minor complications occur, they correct themselves in a few days. PDOThread Lifting is a great minimal downtime procedure and also goes well with fillers and Botox injections. A face contoured by PDO Thread Lifting retains its young and tight skin for up to two years due to the cellular rejuvenation effects. PDO thread treatments are safe, effective and will leave you with firmer, less wrinkled skin.
