  The service and overall experience exceeded my expectations. I walked in without an appointment with the need for an up-do pony tail for a special event today! The front desk receptionist was very nice /helpful and Valerie, the hair stylist, was exceptional. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you!!!!

  I got layers for my thick wavy hair. The hair stylist work through it with grace and was very amazing I love my new haircut I was super nervous at first but it turned out so good and bought products to help my hair that was recommended.

  Since moving to Rockville, MD last summer, I've been going to Haircuttery for almost 9 months. I'm a 60+ year old man, fairly bald and walk in when I need a trim. I ask for a simple #1 buzz cut. My haircuts last no more than 10 minutes. Most of the time, they charge me $23, which I consider a fair price. But a couple times, they've charged me $32!!! Why the inconsistent pricing? My haircuts are not difficult or time-consuming. I don't understand where they get these random jumps in pricing. I think it's time to find a new salon.

  This is the least professional and least friendly experience I've ever had getting a haircut. I scheduled an appointment only for that appointment to be rescheduled, without my input, 30 minutes earlier. On the way to the appointment I had actually scheduled I received notice saying I had not shown up for my appointment. When I got there, I received the most half-assed, 2 minute haircut that the stylist did not seem to want to provide. When finished she did not offer the services advertised (shampoo and rinse) until I sat there stunned by how customer unfriendly the whole experience had been.

  I've been going to Hair Cuttery for about six months now and I've really loved my services there! Since trying to grow my hair out, I've been going for smaller trims and maintenance cuts about every 8 weeks. I highly recommend Genet, who is super warm, friendly, and talented with her haircuts. I've also seen both Abriella and Hermela in the past, who have also been wonderful and I would recommend them both for haircuts. Usually, I'm wary when folks push products without really knowing my hair type or recommending without a consultation, but I am very thankful that Abriella recommended the Cibu Curl Coil Moisturizing Mask to help get hydration back into my hair. It's been a miracle worker on my hair and scalp and I've started using their Cibu Curl line on my hair regularly. A 10/10 experience working with the folks at Hair Cuttery!
