I'm White with thick, fine hair, usually worn mid-back with layers and the occasional bangs when I'm feeling saucy. Helen gets it right every single time. I'm not particularly difficult when it comes to my hair, but there's a big difference between a haircut that looks good walking out of the salon and one that actually styles well at home. When the cut is right, everything falls into place. When it isn't, styling becomes a whole ordeal. Helen understands this and knows how to work with my hair's natural tendencies instead of trying to force it into submission. She cuts it in a way that lets it do its thing, only better! Beyond her talent, she's warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely to work with. She's my favorite stylist there, hands down. I'm giving the salon four stars only because I've had other stylists cut my hair there, and, let me tell you, they're no Helen. That said, nobody has done a bad job! Helen has just set the bar pretty high. If you go, don't ask for Helen. I need her to do my hair!
