  Completely underwhelmed by the nail service in this spa. Although the spa itself seemed beautiful, and I understand most clients go there for services other than hands and feet, when I walked into the nail area I was completely disappointed seeing the outdated and worn out area still using nail products that most places stopped using in the late 1990s. Even the low end salons back home in Annapolis were nicer than this area. Today marked the first day of my retirement and I wanted to spoil myself by having a luxurious hand and foot treatment in a nice spa instead of a nail salon but was sadly let down - although I paid for the highest end of the services, it was as basic as the regular mani/pedi services I normally have at a nail salon in Annapolis. I could have had a more luxurious treatment that included mud masks and paraffin treatment along with hot stones for just a little more at a nice nail salon we have in Annapolis but I had chosen here hoping to have more of a spa treatment instead. The descriptions for the WH mani and pedi were very non-descriptive so I guess that is in me for expecting more because it was a spa - even my regular salon at least creates their own jojo oil blend with other nutritious oils and scents versus using SolaOil.

  Jade is a magician. She has helped me so much with my skin. My face looks like glass thanks to her! I’ve been getting hydrafacials with her for a couple years now.. Amazing. And Arshad for deep tissue was by far the best massage I’ve ever experienced. I get massages frequently as a hair stylist and he hit some spots I didn’t even know existed that carried significant pain. I feel like jello. Thank you both x a million 🩷

  I had a really wonderful experience at Woodhouse Spa in Bethesda. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, inviting, and exactly what I was hoping for. The quiet room was one of my favorite parts. I loved relaxing with tea and light snacks before my service, and the complimentary mimosa at the end was a nice touch. I booked the Seasonal Swedish Massage (50 minutes) with Tamiru, and he did a great job. He encouraged me to choose a scent for deep breathing, and I went with lavender, which was incredibly relaxing. He also incorporated warmed stones into the massage, which felt amazing and added an extra level of comfort. The spa itself is beautiful. The décor is elegant, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. There did appear to be a small area that looked like it was undergoing some maintenance or minor construction, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the massage table wasn’t heated. I know that’s a small detail, but I’ve become accustomed to warmed tables during spa treatments, and it does make a noticeable difference in comfort for me. Overall, I had a great experience and would absolutely return. Between the relaxing atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, excellent massage from Tamiru, and welcoming staff, it was a wonderful way to spend the day. I definitely recommend giving Woodhouse Spa Bethesda a try.

  I had an amazing experience at Woodhouse Spa Bethesda. Marissa was beyond excellent and gave one of the best Swedish massages (with aromatherapy) I’ve ever had. She was professional, attentive, and truly gifted at creating a relaxing and restorative experience, and an expert at what she does! Lesly at the front desk was also wonderful. She was warm, kind, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The spa itself is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. The soft robes and comfortable slippers gave the experience a lovely touch. Everyone I encountered was professional, kind, and gracious. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and completely refreshed. Highly recommend Woodhouse Spa Bethesda, and especially Marissa!

  Had a phenomenal facial, body treatment and product recommendation. Staff were professional, patient, informative and in tune with their clients. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back. Note - I recently attended another nearby Woodhouse when the North Bethesda location was fully booked on the day I had available - avoid the others at all costs and hold out for this location. The service was night and day. Disappointing to have had this experience, but learned my lesson and will be back to this location whenever possible!
