  The associates were extra rude the day I went. Won’t be going back. I asked for assistance with foundation matching. The associated said you can match it Yourself I am not putting It on you. I said can you at least help me figure out the right shade? She got another associate to help me eventually. Usually Sephora associates are eager to help-not here…

  I went back and forth about leaving this review, but this is the closest Sephora to me and, unfortunately, the customer service here continues to disappoint. There always seem to be plenty of associates on the floor, but it rarely translates into actual help. On a recent visit, I asked an associate if they had more of a lipstick that was out of stock on the floor. She told me she’d be right with me, but after finishing with another customer, she moved on to help someone else who had just walked in and never came back. I ended up waiting and then just leaving without the item. This wasn’t an isolated experience. The last time I visited, I asked another associate for help and was told she was busy cleaning. The store wasn’t closing for another hour, and it’s frustrating to feel like tasks like cleaning are being prioritized over customers who are actively shopping. To be fair, the associate handling online orders during my most recent visit was kind and stepped in to help, which I appreciated. But overall, the service here consistently feels inattentive and disorganized. What’s especially noticeable is the contrast with other Sephora locations, like the one in Bethesda, where even during busy times, associates are proactive and attentive. That level of service just doesn’t seem to exist at this location. I really want to have a better experience here, but based on multiple visits, the customer service has been consistently subpar.

  What a glorious shopping experience! I was greeted upon arrival, I wasn’t followed around the store consistently being harassed by the employees, and whenever I needed help, someone would step in to assist with a smile on her face and lots of tips/advice. I really enjoyed my morning shopping at THIS Sephora. The ladies that work here always treat me like I’m their #1 customer. They really are so good at what they do! I will drive up from Virginia just to shop here in peace. I absolutely love it here!
