  My stylist was Charlotte. She was absolutely amazing. Did a great job on my hair with doing a double color and dealing with me for 4 hours was awesome lol. But i love how my hair looks. So she did a great job

  Angie is an exceptional hair stylists. She's very patient when deciding on what cut and style you like. I been coming to Angie for 15 years. Also, I have a granddaughter that lives in Sourh Carolina that gets her hair cut and colored when she comes to visit. Angie has been doing her hair since she was 4. She is now 13 and wants only Angie to do her hair. I highly recommend Angie to do your hair. She's the best and willing to work with your schedule.

  I was skeptical about getting my hair done after a horrible experience at a hair cuttery years ago until I was referred to Angie by a friend, am so happy I went through with it! She did exact color and cut I wanted. She made me feel extremely comfortable didn't judge me for the lack of neglect I have done over the years with my hair. If your nervous about going to a new salon due to horrible experience elsewhere, Angie is the one to see at JCPENNY salon you will not be disappointed!

  I always have amazing appointments with Angie! From the moment I sit down, I feel welcomed and listened to. Angie takes the time to understand exactly what I want and she offers helpful suggestions based on my hair type and lifestyle. The results always exceed my expectations—my hair looks healthier, feels great, and I’ve received so many compliments. Angie’s attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly personality makes my entire appointment enjoyable. I highly recommend Angie to anyone looking for a talented stylist who truly cares about their clients. I can't wait for my next appointment! She truly feels like a part of my family now.

  Good,Bad,and ugly… Good- Pleasant attitude, clean environment, went to this stylist because of a previous review. Bad- After spending 6 hours getting my hair “done”, I left with my hair looking and feeling dry. I was so disappointed that I just pulled it into a ponytail. The hair color is ok but doesn’t look like the purple that I requested. The roller set didn’t work so she tried to “silk press” it without adding products that would make it silky. Supposedly, the mousse was too heavy or something that she couldn’t add other smoothing products. (I’m not a stylist but this made no sense to me.) Although she repeatedly said how experienced she was and how sorry she was this happened, she couldn’t make corrections that would actually help. Also, the pulling and continued combing was hurting as my roots were not straightened. Ugly- I was charged extras for hair treatments but as you can see in the pictures, my hair still looks dry and frizzy. Even the areas that she “pressed” were still kinky at the roots. The color looks splotchy in areas and she kept cutting and cutting throughout the process. Overall would not recommend if you have kinky curly hair. This salon is not for textured hair although they have stylists with textured hair as one of their specialties.
