  Keyshawn did a fabulous job. I look gorgeous to see my wife after a time away. He was complimented by the manager on his layers, and, having this style for my hair for 20 years, I must agree. He didn’t need many details and got it just right. I found my stylist.

  Lisa at Waugh Chapel Hair Cuttery was professional, courteous and showed amazing strength of character and professionalism in the face of a public display of unprofessional and undeserved critism toward her from her peer coworker's... Kudos Lisa and thanks for the cut! Lisa, we were all new somewhere at some point, your co-workers could do better by exercising compassion, and remembering to give the same patience and kindness they also deserved and wanted when they were new.

  The minute we stepped foot in the door, we were met with the meanest stare from the receptionist (long curly hair/waves and wearing glasses). She had the WORST attitude and was incredibly unpleasant. She should highly rethink behavior, especially as a manager.

  So bad experience.so I showed the lady the blow dry hair style who is the senior stylist in the salon and she told me that she cannot do it because she don't know how to do it bcz she wants to charge me more and she charged me 78 dollar just for the head wash and blow dry which was so worst she made my hair so freeze..it was just a simple blowdry with curl but everyone in the salon say that they don't know how to do it..I don't know why they are working at salon if they don't know how to do the hair.

  I visited Hair Cuttery in Gambrills and had a very disappointing experience with Rachel. I came in with thick, voluminous hair and asked for long layers while keeping my volume intact — a pretty straightforward request. Instead, Rachel did the complete opposite. She over-cut my ends to the point where they’re now wispy and thin, like a rat tail. My thick hair has lost all of its body and volume. To make matters worse, my hair no longer looks good in any style I try. Whether I wear it up or down, it just doesn’t work anymore. It’s clear she wasn’t listening to what I wanted and preferred to do her own thing regardless of the client’s wishes. Now I’m looking at months of growing my hair back just to get to where I started. I would not recommend booking with Rachel if you want your requests actually heard and respected.
