  I came here while visiting from out of town to plan a funeral, in the hopes of relaxing and taking a breather. Aleese, who did a sculpt facial with multiple add-ons was superb and did a wonderful job - highly recommend. Unfortunately, I had a lengthy massage with scalp add-on that followed and it was sub par at best. My therapist was distant, clipped in conversation, and during the scalp add-on she pretty much added oil to and massaged the same area for a half hour, while staring off into space. She seemed bored and disinterested. I’ve had this treatment before, and it’s typically a lot more elaborate and thorough. Unfortunately, this was a lot of money to not meet the mark and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I won’t be back to this location, but if you choose to go here for a facial, Aleese is your girl. The woman who welcomed me at 1:30 when I first arrived was also excellent and very kind.

  I booked a 50-minute massage appointment I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, but we did not get into the treatment room until approximately 3:15 PM. The massage ended around 3:49 PM, meaning I received significantly less time than the 50 minutes I paid for. What was most disappointing was that no one informed me that my service would be shortened. When I brought it up to the front desk afterward, I was told the confirmation email stated that arriving without extra time beforehand could result in a shortened service. I reviewed my email and could not find that information. I also emailed the spa afterward to express my concerns and have not received a response. While the staff was pleasant, I left feeling rushed and disappointed that I did not receive the full service I paid for and that my concerns have gone unanswered.

  Bought my wife a Mother’s Day/postpartum gift of a massage and facial here. Facial she said was great. The massage is what ruined the experience for her. She is epileptic and the light in the massage room was flickering. Once she told the therapist, instead of switching rooms (she could’ve as my sister was also there) they said sorry I need my light on to see. Finally, after enough convincing, all they did was give her an eye mask. Also noted the massage was simply not good. I called the manager at the desk, Nina who instead of being sympathetic, just said she will deal with it. No kind words, no saying she’ll address it with the therapist and no trying to earn our business in the future. Only reason for two stars is the esthetician was good. Oh, they also didn’t offer any type of pillow during the massage when I specifically told them she is only a few months postpartum and nursing. It’s so disappointing to hear it was a bad experience after all my wife has been through. For a spa that charges higher prices, you would think you would get an above and beyond great experience. Quite the opposite.
