The staff was so nice and helpful! First time in a Sephora store and this Columbia location was great. Not as high prices as I was imagining.

I went to get foundation and concealer to prepare for my upcoming engagement photos, and had asked to be color matched and for product recommendations (since I have not used those products in my routine for several years and am out of the loop). First off- this lady was unfamiliar with the products and left it up to me to pick a random brand. Second off, when she got on her phone to do the face scan thing she was just staring at her phone for several minutes, until finally trying products on my face and was applying them completely wrong, and even the other employee who also seemed pretty clueless, yet at least not rude, told her she was doing it wrong. Also, as she applied it to my face she kept saying "You have longgggg side burnsss" in a very passive aggressive tone and acting like they were getting in her way when she didn't have to be anywhere near them. My fiancé who was standing there with me had to hold back laughter at the incompetency, and also anger at this unprofessional person who was being a weirdo towards me. And after all that, both ladies could not decide which shade worked on me and the one they leaned towards was not even the one that matched my skin more closely (it was noticeably darker). I saw it was going nowhere so I politely as possible excused myself and said I had to get going. Did not buy anything there, and never walking into that location again for anything after all that. I am not sure why they have people who don't know the products, or how to do makeup and color match work that position.

I got my shade matched for concealer, contour, and foundation by Ariana and she was AMAZING!!! So friendly and knowledgeable - I have light-medium brown skin which is very difficult to match, and I’ve never had someone recommend products and shades as accurately as she did. She was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable as someone who is a makeup amateur - she spent at least 20 minutes helping me find the perfect shades. I would definitely come back to see her + buy any of the products she recommends!

the workers were extremely rude and kept giving me weird looks. i was followed the whole entire time and was asked more than 7 (SEVEN) times if was okay, not if i needed any help. don’t know why ppl lack manners & are so full of themselves lol.
