    They do not stand by their products. I spent top dollar on a hair spray recommended by one of their salespeople. The spray stopped working with more than 70% of the product still there. I tried to return or exchange, and they wouldn’t do it because it was past the 30 days return window. Even cheaper stores will exchange a defective product. Not Sephora. I won’t patronize this store any longer.

    I’ve lived in the U.S. for ten years, and in recent years I’ve rarely been able to find a foundation shade here that truly matches me. Either the stores were too busy, or the staff helping with shade matching didn’t seem very patient. Today I asked two people for help and didn’t feel much patience, but I really wanted to try the foundation from Armani . Then I met Miss Angel. She carefully analyzed my undertone and took the time to shade match me. As a beauty professional myself, I can truly say that her patience and attitude make a big difference to a customer’s mood and desire to keep shopping. Thank you, Miss Angel.

    I had the displeasure of interacting with Lola, who didn't even bother to listen to my concerns and literally turned her back on me while I was talking. Very rude and unprofessional. Working in customer service myself, I can't imagine lacking basic communication skills and human decency when someone is just asking for help. I ended up having to reach out to Sephora corporate, who actually pointed me in the right direction. I was able to get a replacement product from the manufacturer because I was able to prove that the product was indeed, faulty. What could've been a simple conversation turned into a hostile interaction that was really unnecessary. That conversation, had it gone appropriately, would've also help the store to pull the faulty products off of their shelves to avoid this problem in the future. What a circus.

    My friend and I stopped by yesterday to return a well known faulty product, my friend got another cashier and I got Lola. The cashier my friend had seemed a bit confused and looked over to Lola for assistance. Lola fully came at my coworker with nothing but hostility and didn’t even attempt to listen to her and basically brushed her off. towards the end of the interaction, lola fully cut my friend off by turning her back to her while my friend was still talking. we weren’t arguing or causing a scene, just trying to figure out what we could do about this faulty product she bought from that sephora. i don’t usually leave reviews but I was truly appalled by the way she behaved towards my friend. I work in customer service as well and I could never imagine treating a customer like this. After reading the reviews i’m seeing people have had a problem with Lola for months and it’s insane that sephora would still allow someone like her to work there. I’m gonna assume this is how sephora treats their customers and not return. There’s an ulta down the street that has way better customer service and I highly recommend you take your business there, and not to this place.
