    one of the worst experiences ever at Hair Cuttery. I’m not very particular with my hair however I usually like it to be scissors cut and not clipper cut. Elsa was my stylist. She sat me down, asked me how I wanted my haircut and started coming out with trimmers and cut the back very short. At that point it was going to be whatever it was and there wasn’t much I could do since she had already started trimming. Also, she never asked or offered to wash my hair, which I think is ridiculous since that’s part of the Service and one of the things I look forward to. Will use hair Cuttery but not her for sure

    Absolutely horrible - stay away unless you’re an old lady who wants a blunt uneven cut w/no shape or style. I asked for a simple trim, relayering (long layers), and framing the face. I have thick hair with natural waves and never ONCE did she part it in sections to cut. Never even attempted to take out any weight from the mid-layers. She hacked my hair off with scissors, unevenly, abruptly, and didn’t even check to see if the ends were even. I asked for 2-3” to be trimmed, she chopped off 4” using one hand with scissors while her other hand was gesturing to her coworkers as she gossiped. I literally sat there at times as she complained about her coworkers. Then when she decided to work on my hair again, she literally eyeballed it, didn’t use her fingers to check edges, never tapered any layers, never attempted to thin out blunt weighted ends. After blow drying and styling, when I was “done” - she grabbed the scissors and snipped some of the most obvious pieces sticking out, visibly missed a few, but didn’t care to finish because it was jagged everywhere. Never showed me how the back looked, I was already terrified of her doing more damage so I quickly paid $50 and still tipped graciously $20 because she was just staring at me. I was so uncomfortable the whole time, she was extremely unprofessional, the entire experience was traumatic- I got out of there as fast as I could. Not ONE layer. Looks like I’m wearing a helmet. Literally ruined my hair and now I gotta pay another $100 tomorrow to get it fixed at a proper salon.
