Came in on a Sunday, April 12th and asked for a wash, trim and blow dry. I advised and showed the technician that I had K tips in my hair. I Asked the technician to trim the front around my face and to do it going downwards in a diagonal cut without touching anything else. What I got was a botched job! I asked for the manager who came and called herself fixing what the previous technician did. At the end of the day my hair was horrendous, uneven, and chopped up ruining my $800 K tips! I told the manager to stop and between the two technicians, my hair was shredded and my K tips were beyond repair. I had to walk out of the salon. The next day I called to make a complaint and submit photos of the damage. A lady advised that Hair Cuttery doesn’t usually give pay for any damages done to customers hair. I ended up speaking to Oscar who forwarded my complaint to his supervisor. Although I didn’t hear from his supervisor immediately , Oscar did follow up to see if there was any progress. His supervisor finally called asking me to send photos, which I did. Several days passed and by this time I had to pay an additional $800 to have new K tips reinstalled in my hair to cover up the uneven botched up job that Hair Cuttery did. In the meantime, I sent a message again to Oscar. Thereafter, Adriana, Regional Manager for Hair Cuttery sent me a text saying she was going to have Greg, the Education Manager for Maryland contact me. When I spoke to Greg and sent him the photos, he agreed that my hair was botched up and that the technique used was incorrect. He asked if he could recut my hair. I told
Him I had to pay $800 to get new K tips reinstalled and that I do not want anyone else from Hair Cuttey cutting my hair. He later stated that he would have to refer back to Adrian A) because she is the only one who can make a decision on what to do. This was a bit confusing because when I corresponded with Adriana, she stated that Greg would be able to make a determination and now Greg is only referring me back to Adriana. I Responded back to Adrian A) letting her know I spoke to Greg and that he was referring me back to her for a resolution. Adriana has yet to respond so I had to leave a message letting them know I would be filing a civil suit for the damage done to my hair. Whatever you do, Sunday is not the day to go to Hair Cuttery at the Bethesda, AutoPark location! I do not understand why a salon would have a technician on the floor who would do this type of damage!
I am having to file a civil suit while awaiting a courtesy resolution for this matter!

The lovely Alvina is our family stylist. I screwed up and recorded a 1:45 PM appointment as 2:45 PM. She fit us in for wax facial and shampoo/style/blowout nevertheless. Even then, she took time to answer questions and to make certain the style was just right. I cannot say enough good things about her.
