I have massages regularly, and was schedule for a deep tissue massage, and what I got was more like a Swedish massage. I was very disappointed After checking in I lead to my locker, and no tour where anything else was. The spa was clean and the staff was friendly.

Shockingly bad massage and service for a $1,400 charge. I’ve been a loyal Four Seasons guest for years, and this was by far the worst spa experience I’ve ever had at any luxury hotel. I booked a high-end massage package for my wife and I that totaled approximately $1,400, expecting a top-tier treatment and service consistent with the Four Seasons brand. From the start, the experience felt disorganized and she honestly just rubbed lotion on me with a 1/10 pressure. I asked her, 7x to please add pressure. She would for 1-2 minutes then back to what felt like texting on her phone. The therapist seemed like it was her first day or she was ready to quit. Mostly a generic routine that completely ignored what I had requested. Pressure was inconsistent, key muscle groups were skipped, and there was no sense of flow or intention to the treatment. Worse, I left feeling more tense than when I arrived. There was no follow-up, no check-in to ask how the service was, and what was clearly a failed experience. For $1,400, you expect a personalized, attentive treatment and a spa team that cares whether you’re satisfied. Instead, it felt like they were simply running an expensive assembly line. I would strongly urge management to review their training, quality control, and guest feedback processes for the spa, because this was an unacceptable experience.

I recently enjoyed a staycation at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore and wanted to share my experience. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable visit with many standout moments. The spa was absolutely top-tier. I had a 50-minute collagen boost facial, and it was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I’ve had. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making the entire experience feel luxurious from start to finish. Dining was also exceptional. Breakfast at Maxim’s was delightful, and dinner at Azumi was truly a high-end experience. Depending on selections, it can easily reach around $500 per person, but the quality, ambiance, and service made it a very enjoyable evening. That said, my room experience did not fully match the level I’ve come to expect from Four Seasons properties worldwide. I chose the Baltimore location because the marketing and reputation felt very top-tier, but the room I received seemed dated. Several amenities were not functioning properly the safe and TV both required maintenance, and it took about three hours for assistance to resolve the issues, with the TV still not fully operational afterward. I ultimately used my laptop for entertainment. The mirror TV feature also did not work, which was disappointing as I had hoped to watch my Sunday service there. Maintenance staff were kind and did their best, but they confirmed some elements were older. For a staycation at this price point, I had hoped for a more seamless and elevated in-room experience. Compared to other Four Seasons locations I’ve visited, this stay did not quite reach the same standard. However, the property itself is beautiful, the service teams are wonderful, and the spa and dining experiences were outstanding. I would genuinely love to return and give the hotel another chance in a refreshed or updated room, as I believe the Baltimore location has the potential to deliver an exceptional stay across the board. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality and care during my visit.

I think this goes with out saying but I loved my hydro facial and body scrub. The lunch was good too.
