  I am usually not in this area but while waiting for a dinner appointment I stepped into this Lush. The woman who helped me and my sister was very nice and friendly. She was very helpful and recommended a few products for us based on our needs. The store was apparently closing soon, but she was kind enough to finish helping us and ring us up, and after all her help and suggestions and kind attitude, I wanted to actually purchase something in hopes she makes the commission! She was great. The other woman working there tonight, a taller white lady, however, was not very nice. As we were leaving I said I didn’t want to take up any more time since I saw that “the store was closing” so I decided not to sign up for rewards at that moment to leave as quick as possible. This other worker (taller white woman) was not even the one helping my sister or me, yet she rudely interjected and said “actually we’re CLOSED not CLOSING” very loudly. The last thing I’d want to do is keep any workers doing extra work past their shift, and as a worker myself I understand that days are long sometimes. However, we were not even interacting with her or keeping her there, and I wanted to at least finish my purchase since the woman who was kindly helping us took the time to really recommend and explain the products to us. Just a reminder it takes nothing to be nice to people. I would normally say nothing but we really need more kindness in this world. The white lady who was working tonight could learn to be kinder and more patient. Again, her reaction was very rude and just super unnecessary considering that SHE WAS NOT EVEN THE ONE ATTENDING TO US. And her tone was loud and rude. The worker who was helping us out didn’t seem to mind checking us out a few minutes past closing time since we didn’t know when exactly the store closed (we had just wandered in) and again, I wanted to actually make a purchase instead of just take the kindly offered samples and leave, in hopes this purchase supports the workers at the store. I don’t appreciate the attitude and rudeness of the other woman working there this evening. But I think the one who helped us (she had long black hair) was really good at her job. Thanks for being so personable, girl :)
