I can't believe I just spent $28 for a senior haircut. I was in the chair for five minutes. I didn't need a shampoo so she just sprayed my whole head with water and after she got done cutting an inch or so off I told her I wanted to just blow dry my hair so I wasn't going outside with it all wet because she oversprayed it. She told me she was gonna have to charge me for using the blow dryer. That's the last time I ever go to a hair Cuttery

A poem about my experience: Went to Hair Cuttery, just for a snip, Left in an asymmetrical relationship ——— UPDATE: A few days later, the district manager called me to discuss my experience and is issuing me a refund. Thank you for making it right! ——— I visited the Parkville Hair Cuttery location after my regular salon canceled my appointment last minute, and I needed a haircut before an event this week. I changed my plans from a more involved style to something simple, just taking off some length and adding long layers so my hair would look healthier. I specifically asked for about six inches off with long layers. Once I got home and the blowout started to fall (my hair doesn’t hold shape for long), I noticed one side was significantly longer than the other. I re-wet and dried my hair straight to make sure I wasn’t imagining it, but no matter how I parted or styled it, the same uneven result was obvious. I called first thing the next morning to request a refund for the $60 haircut so I could put that money toward having it corrected somewhere else. I offered to send photos showing the issue, but explained that I was not comfortable returning to the same location for a fix. The manager told me they do not offer refunds and that the only option was to come back in for a correction there. Mistakes can happen, but refusing a refund when the haircut was clearly uneven, and expecting a customer to trust the same salon to fix it, is disappointing customer service. I understand that these policies are set at the corporate level and there’s not much the individual location can do.

Best haircut experience! Gillian was my stylist and she was so funny & friendly. She was very attentive and listened to what I wanted to do with my hair, recommended product (as they do), and started snipping away. She was familiar with middle aged curly hair (mixture of grays that don’t do what the rest of my brown hair has always done) and stuck to my guidelines. My curls now look beautiful and bouncy and my head actually feels lighter. Gillian was so friendly, she talked to me like we were old friends catching up. I was in a talky mood but Gillian is the type of person that even if I didn’t want to chit chat she still would have done a good job and it would not have been uncomfortable at all. I’m really happy with my haircut!
