I've been to this place for massages a few times before, and this visit reminded me why I liked coming back. I had booked one type of massage, but there was a mix-up and I ended up receiving a different one — which, to be fair, was still wonderful, since I've had great massages here in the past. I mentioned the mix-up to the front desk, and the next day they called me personally to make it right — they offered to book me for the massage I'd originally wanted, at no additional charge. That level of care and follow-through says a lot about how much they value their clients. Genuinely recommend this place — great massages, and a team that actually listens and takes responsibility when something goes wrong.

I recently visited Puffers for the first time and did a spa day package. It started off strong with a wonderful massage. However, when it came time for my 75 min facial, I was disappointed that more than half of it was getting my feet, legs, arms, and head massaged. I love a good massage, but I literally had just had one, and I wanted a good facial. I think all she did was wash and moisturize my face. The transitions between each service were awkward; a couple of times I found myself alone and not sure what I was supposed to do. A couple of times I had to shuffle through the main lobby and salon area in my robe, and it felt like the people working there were looking at me funny, as well as other people who were there waiting for something. When it was time for lunch, I was put in a space in the lower level, in a tiny nook where a salon station was fashioned into an eating area and I was left sitting there all alone for like 20 minutes waiting for the lunch with a small tv type table in front of me, and had anyone come down, the first thing they would have seen was me sitting there eating all by myself in a robe in a weird corner. I went back upstairs ( 2 floors up) to get my phone so at least I had something to do, but felt it odd that nobody had suggested or asked if I wanted to grab anything before I went two floors down, and at no point did anyone offer the wifi password, nor was there any signage. At no point did anyone check on me or tell me what to do when I was done. After I got my pedicure, and was guided to walk over to a separate area to wait for the person who was going to do my manicure, I almost slipped, and realized that in the process, the bottom of my robe got soaking wet and water was running down my leg. I told the girl, and she said " oh no" then left me there, without even offering a dry robe. The girl who did the remaining items was such a sweetheart and I really liked her, but my hair and makeup were bad, and I had to fix them when i got home prior to leaving for an important event. Manicure was done without a drop of water or lotion or cuticle oil. My cuticles were still dry and ragged after the fact. The whole thing felt very poorly executed, and not the way I'm accustomed to being attended to in a spa setting. And while the massage was wonderful, everything else felt sub-par, whether it was in the quality of the service, or the demeanor of the person providing the service, or both. I can't see myself returning.

This morning I arrived promptly at 10 am for a much needed pedi. I was told that my pedi was cancelled because someone called in sick. They called me at 7:15 which would have been great had I seen the message. I shut my notifications off at night . Wouldn’t it have been nice if they called me back when I didn’t call to reschedule? Now I realize this happens people get sick, and if this wasn’t the second time this happened to me in the span of 4 mos I wouldn’t have been so irritated. Time to move on
