Very rude young lady with the glasses. She literally took 3 minutes for a haircut, rused it and didn't let me use the restroom. Said it's not for public, but I am your customer not some random guy asking to use the restroom. Terrible won't be coming back again here.

This review is for date 3/30/26 between 12-1 PM. I walk in with my elderly handicapped father for him to get a haircut and beard trim. We are asked to wait though nobody is in the store, and the two workers continue their conversation near the front desk. As we are waiting, my mother and I start looking through styling books to see what haircut will suit my father best, but we realized there were only women’s cuts. I excused myself to the staff and asked if they had any books on men’s haircuts? The middle aged woman, who we later found out her name is Marti, pointed to a shelf of two books and said, “In back of that one”, I asked which one, and was completely ignored, but that’s ok I can check the back of both. I then hear her say a comment about me to the other staff and roll her eyes, which I ignored. That same woman later called on my father to sit in a younger woman’s chair. My father stood up and slowly started walking with his walker to the chair, in which I noticed the middle aged lady roll her eyes yet again. My father had a stroke many years ago and has limited function of his left side, he barely leaves the house now since his incident due to depression, so though I noticed the behavior of this woman early on, I continued to ignore it so my father could enjoy his time. I show the younger woman the haircut he would like and asked if you could also shape up his beard in where she tells us, “I don’t know how to do beards”, which we were fine with and just asked for her to cut down the whole thing. That is where, Marti steps in and annoyingly said, “I’m supposed to leave soon but I’ll just do it” with a sigh. My mother and I sat down in the waiting area and looked at each other like wow, but continued ignoring. That is until Marti, who was face to face with my father doing his beard says to him, “You don’t say that to people! You’re rude!”, clearly this alarmed me thinking my father said something horrible and when I approach he had his head down saying ,”I’m sorry” with his voice shaking. I asked the lady what happened, and she tells me my father said he didn’t like the way she was cutting his beard. My father was still saying sorry with his head down and seemed like he wanted to cry. I was shocked, just because I customer tells you they don’t like something you scream at them in their face? That is when I said to Marti that she has been rude since we got here, that we were all set with her service and told my dad we were leaving (he was only in that chair for about 5 minutes). Instead of that being the end of it, Marti decided to argue and ask, “How was I rude, tell me”, while flaring her arms. So I told her everything from the beginning of this review, which she talked over the whole time. At that point I just asked to speak to a manager, she then told me she didn’t have one and the younger girl broke down and started crying. I felt bad for her, I really felt like maybe Marti even bully’s her and that situation was the tip of the iceberg. I apologized to the young girl, told her it wasn’t her fault, and we left. I then proceeded to contact Great clips to report the incident, I called the number on the card that was at the front desk. A young woman answers and I ask to speak to corporate (in case they really did not have a manager) and she tells me I have reached it. I report the incident and ask if this will reach that specific branch, and she says yes that all calls are recorded. Once we hung up something about that call didn’t feel right, she asked minimal questions and did not seem at all concerned. A few days later I call to see if that number was actually corporate, and it’s the number to the West Springfield location Great Clips! What a joke I really couldn’t help but laugh at how sketchy and unprofessional these people are. To go that far to pretend you are corporate? All I have to say is I wouldn’t want anyone working for me who not only has poor customer service skills, but also does not know the basics of hair styling and lied on my company!

They don’t take promotions. So if you see a Great clips ad/promo with a discount code, this location will not accept it.y hairdresser this afternoon was fantastic tho. She was all alone.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GREAT CLIPS. This 18 year old looking girl gave me a haircut and I ONLY get my head shaved. Completely bald. How hard is that????? She did it in like 60 seconds COMPLETELY uneven. No chemicals afterwards. Not short enough at all. Literally the worst head shave of my life. I got scammed out of $20

Hair "stylist " butchered my hair! I gave her a picture of what I wanted..... she confirmed and kept saying "mmm hmm" as if she knew (mind you i showed her MULTIPLE times of what i was looking for). She didn't cut my hair based on the picture nor did she try to style it, despite the fact we'd asked her to. She wanted to go home and left me with a jacked up haircut! Suuurrreee..... you can go back within 5 days to have it "corrected", but by that time there was nothing to "correct "! My hair was gone! She didn't provide as requested and now i have to wait for my hair to grow back in to get the "look" I was hoping for. Horrible experience!!!
