  I had a wonderful experience at Oak House Med Spa & Wellness. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable. Holly took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and explain my treatment options thoroughly. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and inviting, and I never felt rushed during my appointment. What I appreciate most is their focus on achieving natural-looking results while prioritizing my overall wellness. I am extremely happy with my results and the level of care I received.   An absolute nightmare of an experience. What should have been a professional aesthetic service felt chaotic, disorganized, and deeply unsettling from beginning to end. The owner’s demeanor was shockingly rude, abrasive, and devoid of the professionalism or warmth one would expect in a client-facing business. Even more disturbing were procedures being interrupted by medical emergencies, creating an atmosphere that felt unstable and frankly alarming. What made the experience even harder to comprehend was the glaring lack of technical competence. For someone claiming 20 years in aesthetics, the inability to properly perform basic extractions was astonishing. Experience should bring precision, confidence, and skill, not visible uncertainty and poor execution. Discovering that this practitioner only works 2 days a week only reinforced the impression that this is not a serious, consistently maintained professional practice, but something approached casually while clients are expected to trust it with their faces, safety, and money.

  My experience was deeply disappointing and fell far below the level of professionalism one would reasonably expect. There appeared to be a troubling lack of competence and preparedness throughout the process. The owner’s demeanor came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which only added to the discomfort of the experience. Most concerning, medical emergencies reportedly interrupted procedures, raising serious questions about operational stability and client safety. It was also surprising that an aesthetician presented as having 20 years of experience seemed to lack proficiency in basic extraction techniques, while only practicing a limited number of days per week, which gave the impression that this may not be a consistently maintained professional practice.

  I had a very disappointing first experience with Oak House Med Spa. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM, and at 1:50 PM, only ten minutes before my appointment, they called to tell me they were running 30 minutes behind. I arrived at 2:25 PM, and the aesthetician, Rebecca, still was not ready. I waited until 2:45 PM, which means they were about 50 minutes late, and at that point I expressed that this was ridiculous and unprofessional. Instead of handling the situation with accountability or professionalism, the owner became dismissive and had a very unpleasant attitude about it. She tried to convince me to stay, but I explained that this was already a horrible first impression, especially after driving 30 minutes to get there and waiting almost an hour past my appointment time. After several minutes of her convincing me, I decided to proceed since I had already made the drive. Once I got into the room, Rebecca explained the Epicutis facial to me, which I am already very familiar with because I have been using Epicutis products for four years. I asked if extractions were included, and she told me she does not do extractions. That was extremely frustrating because when I called a week earlier before booking, I was specifically told that the Epicutis facial included extractions. For a med spa, especially one offering facials, that lack of consistency and communication is unacceptable. Overall, the entire experience felt unprofessional from start to finish. Being 50 minutes late, giving excuses, having a dismissive attitude, and then not offering the service I was told would be included is not okay. There are way too many med spas in the area to deal with this kind of poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend Oak House Med Spa based on my experience. There are way tooo many better Med Spas to even deal with a unprofessional and rude owner who doesn’t take accountability or even show any sort of empathy towards throwing someone’s schedule a hour behind and not even caring!
