  For years I went to my OBGYN with symptoms only to be told everything was normal. No one offered perimenopause as a possibility. I spent time with endocrinologists and cardiologists trying to find the answer until a routine blood panel the following year produced a casual “you’re in menopause” — not perimenopause, full menopause — followed by a barely veiled warning about hormone therapy from a provider who clearly wasn’t going to support that path. This was after the public reversal of the decades-old risk data on HRT. Finding SYNC through a personal referral changed everything. Jenny Theriot, NP spent nearly two hours with me going through my full blood panel. Two hours. I brought my best friend from California because my memory wasn’t reliable at the time and I wanted a second set of ears. She was so blown away by the comprehensiveness and the care that she signed up for her own bloodwork the next day and became a patient. She told me specifically that what SYNC provides is above and beyond anything she has experienced in women’s healthcare in Los Angeles, one of the most progressive healthcare markets in the country. Now when I speak with anyone in their late 30s or early 40s I encourage them to find SYNC or something like it before they need it. The goal is a soft landing into perimenopause and menopause. Not the hard hit I encountered. Women deserve that preparation and that care. The conversation starting too late is the whole problem and it does not have to be that way. I am so grateful for what Angie Huff and her team at SYNC Wellness do for not just women (men too) in the wellness space!

  I’ve been with Sync around 2 years. My husband went for his first time and I went with him. We had our appointments back to back allowing us both to be seen. He was very impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, and that every person working there was healthy. When you are offering health and wellness it speaks volumes to see it lived out. Jenny, Christy, and the entire staff at Sync practice what they speak. You feel safe in their care and that optimal health can be obtained. Angie and Max have started a great service to Baton Rouge and surrounding areas that many generations will benefit from.

  I have been with Sync for almost 2 years now, and I am more than satisfied with the personal service and attention I get. I feel like for the first time in my life I am doing what I need to be as healthy as I can be. Sync has helped me with my diet, supplements, and hormones and I feel better than Ive ever felt, sleeping like I did when I was in my twenties and brain feels alert and alive. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to optimize your health and prevent illness and disease. This is the reason I continue and I feel the staff is full of knowledge and also I feel that they look at every single area of your body to help you to be the very best you can be. Its impressive and I am SOLD.
