I brought my little brothers in for haircuts, and while one of the younger stylists with colorful hair was incredibly kind and did an amazing job, the older lady working there was the complete opposite. Right from the start, the tone was off. As I was trying to give my information, she loudly snapped at her coworker who was helping another client, saying, “Hey, I can’t hear what she’s telling me because you’re speaking so loud.” Even though she tried to laugh it off, it came across as very rude and negative. She was very snippy and seemed irritated the entire time both with customers and with her coworker. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to be there or work in customer service at all. My little brother J is autistic and was really excited about getting his haircut. He happily said, “I’m getting a haircut,” and she immediately cut him off in a frustrated tone saying, “I know, hold on.” It felt dismissive and unnecessary. She also seemed bothered that we were walk ins. During my other brother’s haircut, when he politely mentioned a concern about how his hair was being cut, she got defensive instead of listening and reassuring him. Overall, the negative attitude really overshadowed the experience. I truly appreciate the younger stylist with the colorful hair for her kindness and professionalism, but because of how we were treated by the other employee, I won’t be returning.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
