  First time purchasing at a sephora store ever, only bought 2 items that ran me about 70$. when i get to the register im greeted with a “hello is this all for you today” ok so far so good, then it comes time to pay im asked “do you have an email with us” i say “no”. then she goes ok your total is going to be (says the amount) im like okay, i swipe the card transaction approved. then she goes im going to put your receipt in your bag, i say “ok thank you!” i get home later and look at my receipt, going over the items i bought cus they were a mother’s day gift for my mom and i was so excited to give it to her i couldn’t stop looking at them. as im looking at my receipt it t says “meghan thanks for being a member!” and it shows the previous rewards balance along with the updated balance, i call the next day to complain because WHY did you take it upon yourself to enter your account into my purchase. The employee who did this was a black female, her name is “Tre’ona” something along those lines, i’m not sure i’m spelling it correctly. I speak to the manager and he gives me 20$ kohls cash to use anywhere in the store except sephora. i’m like okay cool, when i get there to complain the employee who stole from me is in the corner chatting it up with another employee worried about what she did. Idk man but this employee needs to be fired, that was unprofessional and i wonder how many times she’s done this. sephora is expensive as it is, so for you to build up your rewards off of customers is insane and greedy.

  I stopped in to find skincare and foundation. I had no purse no jacket just a tshirt and my wallet with a few hundred. They asked if I was finding things okay about 5 times during my short shopping experience. Everytime I went to look at something I was interrupted while trying for try things to find the right product. I also watched them greet each walk in after me in a more cheerful manner they were all Caucasian. Bc of this I didn't want to spend my money here. And only did so they could see I wasn't there to steal.
