  Just had my very first appointment at Bliss with Fran and she was amazing! My color looks so good and she did an awesome job on my bangs! I’ve had my hair done at one of the super expensive chain salons before and Fran did a MUCH better job. Thanks so much, Fran!

  Wonderful experience with Ella at Bliss in Plainfield! Ella cut my hair to my exact specs as well as washed my hair afterwards. Ella is very meticulous and listens very well Great job Ella! My hair looks great !

  I was super excited for my hair, and left completely disappointed. I drove 1hr and 30 minutes because of how great everyone said this salon was. I made the drive to get a consult to see if they will be able to do the hair color and haircut I wanted. I showed her my color inspo picture and the hairstylist left it clear that my hair will not grab that color which is understandable, I then showed her my second color inspo and she assured me that the color I wanted we will be able to achieve, I also wanted a haircut with lots of layers and face trimming. I came out that salon with absolute no layers but bangs, and left with a black hair color. I still payed $360 and said nothing because I’m the time to stay quiet and not start a fuss, but please please before you come here make explain everything and don’t fall victim like me. The first picture was the first inspo which she clearly clarified she couldn’t do, the second picture was the second inspo which she told me we can achieve, the third picture is my final result and how I came out the salon.

  angie was the BEST!! seriously so attentive and nice while also doing her job the best! i asked for a scene/emo haircut and she gave me exactly what i wanted, along with telling me how to style it correctly and take care of it. She was super fun and comfortable to talk to! I would definitely come back here and would also recommend this place to other ppl!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I've been visiting this salon for quite some time, and every previous visit was great. Unfortunately, this time I was assigned a new stylist for my root touch-up. She applied hair color all over my forehead. After the hair wash, a patch of color remained, so I politely asked her to remove it as I had plans afterward. Instead of removing it gently, she rubbed my forehead so aggressively that my skin became raw, started burning immediately, and even began to ooze. I had to ask her to stop. I requested ice, but they didn't have any. After some time, The stylist was So ignorant, and not at all accountable for what she did, I kept on asking her for some moisturizer or cold water or anything that can help me and after asking multiple times she Give me aloe vera gel. Even after I informed the staff that I had been injured, the situation wasn't handled appropriately. I now have a burn on my forehead and can only hope it doesn't leave a scar. I've always enjoyed coming here and have even purchased hair care products during my visits, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Please be careful and ensure your stylists are properly trained to handle situations like this.
