  I visited this place today and was very pleased with the massage I received. Vanessa was very polite and regularly asked me if the pressure was alright , place felt cozy and comfortable . I will be coming back here very soon, and I recommend that others visit this place too, where they can enjoy a pleasant massage.

  I was very disappointed with my experience at 224 Massage. There isn't a receptionist, so the massage therapist had to stop the session several times to answer the front door whenever someone came in. She also left the treatment room door open so she could hear people entering. I felt uncomfortable because it reduced my privacy. When I asked if the door could be closed, she seemed upset. The massage itself felt unprofessional to me, and I didn't feel the therapist demonstrated the level of skill I was expecting. I personally questioned her training based on my experience, but I can't speak to her qualifications. To make matters worse, I felt pressured to leave a large tip at the end, even though the massage had been interrupted multiple times and I wasn't satisfied with the service. I won't be returning.

  My experience was horrible and similar to the few people that left reviews before me. This is not a place with skilled massage therapist that know the anatomy of the human body. My fiancé and I went in thinking it would be a great experience, and were shocked that the women were walking on our back with their feet (unsanitary and uncomfortable), straddling our heads and digging their knees in our backs, and pressing very hard on places other massages therapist’s (I get monthly massages at massage envy or hand and stone) say they aren’t even allowed to massage due to safety such as behind the knee or certain areas of head or neck because it can cause damage. I used to get massages monthly at multiple different chains ans noted and we tried this place on a last minute crunch. I always get a firm massage and never have issue. They did not give a firm massage, they gave a painful massage where they pressed on bones and misaligned my back causing damage. There is no intake form or conversations at all at this place. They didn’t ask to know any areas of concern or focus. I did tell them I had one knot which they completely skipped over in the massage so I left still having it. They also said it was buy one get one for upgrades so I got one and my fiancé did. Come to find out you can’t combine, which is ridiculous and they ever told us so they charged us both for them and then said we missed the free upgrades by not getting two each. They do exactly as the other reviews said and basically pull your underwear all the way down and it’s very uncomfortable. I have had many massages, they would never do this. As my underwear were down they also left the room multiple times with the door open exposing myself and fiancé to whoever could have been walking bye. Unacceptable. Also talk to each other a ton during the massage which is not relaxing. When they asked me to pay I tried to type in my own tip and she refused to let me and said she had to type in the amount. I felt so awkward I tipped $50 and wish I didn’t. Two days after the massage I had to call into work because I physically could barely move my neck. I had to ice and apply heat compresses for an entire two days and it’s still hurting. I am so disappointed and wouldn’t recommend anyone to this place. I wish I stayed far away like others cautioned.

  Absolutely wonderful message! 10/10 would recommend. I came in as a stressed to the max walk-in and left wondering what planet I was on.
