  Nice young ladies, very good at explaining and answering questions. Just please don’t bring up tipping during payment. It can be seen on the screen. I spent all of 20 minutes inside the store. Nothing special was done that warranted a suggestion to tip. This seems to be normal in most establishments. However, my expectation around that subjectI is very different.

  We had such a wonderful experience with Nurse Berenice! She was absolutely amazing with the children, showing so much patience, kindness, and compassion. Her ability to communicate clearly, and provide such great education was truly appreciated.

  Came in for my daughters ear piercing and left with one ear being to high ,uneven, not centered and not matching other ear . The nurse tried to say that she had two different ears but she did not take her time to double check with the dotting herself and since she stated her ears were different. I thought everything was normal because I don’t have any knowledge of piercing, but I feel very disappointed Because I don’t want to put my daughter through that again either to redo it just to get even ear piercings.

  We had the joy of having Kyle as our piercer. He was knowledgeable and thoughtful. He helped my daughter feel confident and excited about her new piecing. He helped walk her through the whole process start to finished. If you are looking for a place for your kids to get their ears pierced come here…. You will be in good hands.

  Unfortunately, I would not recommend Rowan for this particular piercing. I had my upper cartilage professionally pierced at Rowan last November, and almost 10 months later, it still has not healed. The piercing is also noticeably crooked/angled, and the jewelry sits down inside the fold of my ear, making it look awkward and difficult to see. What makes this especially frustrating is that I have been extremely careful with it. I’ve consistently followed aftercare instructions and have used a piercing pillow since the day I got it pierced specifically to prevent pressure while sleeping. I also have other cartilage piercings that I did myself that have healed much better and are much straighter. At this point, I don’t believe this is simply a case of cartilage “taking a long time to heal.” The placement itself appears to be the issue. After nearly 10 months, I’m now having to consider having another professional piercer evaluate it and potentially letting it close so it can be repierced correctly. I’m honestly disappointed because I paid a professional specifically because I expected the placement to be done correctly. I would have much rather been told that my anatomy wasn’t suitable for the placement I wanted than end up with a piercing that I’m unhappy with and may ultimately have to remove. I’m not leaving this review because I expect every piercing to heal perfectly—I understand that complications happen. I’m leaving it because the placement has been an ongoing problem, despite me doing everything I could to care for it.
