This Lush store is the BEST!!! Julia, Fern, and Moira provided a perfect experience. My daughters and I have shopped at Lush for years, and for the last two years, the Oakbrook location has been our GO TO LOCATION. Before the renovation, we would stop in and have great conversations with these ladies about the products and the changes. We were excited to visit the store in the last week before closing and even more excited to visit them again recently. They always entertain my daughters, which allows me to have a shopping experience of my own. I talked to them about my skin care concerns, and they recommended the best body and face scrubs, as well as a mint chocolate lip scrub that I want to eat each time I use it. Please visit this store whenever you have Lush and bath bombs (the bath bomb wall is 🥰🤯) in mind.

Really do not need 5 people asking 10 questions as soon as you walk in. Worse than a normal lush

Julia and Sam were amazing! I haven’t been this Lush location since the remodel, so they both showed me all the products and were incredibly patient. Julia recommended some great bath products and Sam helped me pick a new body spray. They were both very knowledgeable and I know I’ll be back for their recommendations!

I visited LUSH today and not only met my best friend in the world but also got so many movie recommendations to watch while I fake tan and got to know a new staff member (known as my new bff) Ella. I don’t know if that’s how you spell it, but she was so funny and we laughed a lot. Ella if u see this u the goat and im having my bday party. But, I want to chime in on one of the workers behind the desk. I frequently buy from LUSH and spent over $50 there monthly. But, only seeing me talk to Ella, a worker spontaneously got reminded to tell me and my pal that LUSH was a business and not a social gathering. To this, I responded with a certain, yes. It’s like I almost forgot I was in a store surrounded by bath bombs and paddington soap. Like, I forgot I was in consumerist jungle rainforest safari. Not only do I just constantly forget that LUSH (the store) is a business, but I also know that workers do need to socialize with customers because that happens to be how a business like LUSH functions. Tell me if I’m wrong? If not me, can someone please tell the girl with short black hair and glasses that I really needed the redirecting information to know a difference from making conversation with a worker who is helping me purchase a product, rather than me going into LUSH, eating the soap, and treating me like I belong with the packing peanuts. Even when I began to get interested in working at a LUSH location, the girl behind the counter chose to chime in again. Instead of welcoming a potential member of the LUSH worker community, she reminded me I had to be eighteen. That is just crazy. Like, who knew to work with soap chemicals and host birthday parties that I had to be an adult. Me and my pal pranced on in, had a jolly time, bought Super Milk, and still had to be reminded that LUSH was a business. Again, God forgive me if Im wrong, but with everything I hold dear I’m super duper positive I think I know that LUSH is a business. Anyway, Ella was the best and I had a great time. And Ik LUSH is a great business, thanks cashier girl I almost forgot. Maybe I should’ve assumed you’d be sad since the little LUSH group left you out about some pretty colorful topics. U da goat Ella. UPDATE: Janessa Liana wrote a review about the same heavy set girl I’ve been naming as the girl behind the counter, so this should definitely be brought up as a problem especially since it’s two customers within two days who are only in need of service or a good conversation.
